His value isn't as the main scorer on any team, but he shows a nice feel for the game and his spot up "threat" will help space the floor. Will be interesting to see if he gets much time this year or if he is still a year away from meaningful playing time. Would have to think if they make a trade for Kawhi that his odds to see the floor improve (if he isn't part of the trade...)

He has a narrow frame and short arms: One NBA team measured him as having a wingspan nearly identical to his height, which means he may not have the versatility to guard multiple positions as you would expect for a player his size.

I've seen 6'11" in another source that I can't find, who knows why he wasn't measured officially.

Personally, I think his arms look short. I definitely don't think they are in the 6'11" or 7' range. If I had to guess, I'd say sub-6'9". Strictly SG length.

Korkmaz will slot in nicely in Bellinelli's role being Reddick's backup. Quick release, great range, but I was also impressed with his ball handling, decision making and his floaters in the lane. He has more balance to his offensive game than Bellinelli.

Problem with Korky is not his length. It's his lack of strength that if you bump at him you can easily get space and may even get him out of position to jump and challenge. Think about how Tatum usually does a slight push off to get his space.

I thought the problem was inconsistency. His performance change from game 1 to game 2 in the summer league was... um... rather dramastic.

Yeah. It wouldnt be an issue if he's stud defensively. If he's struggling on offense, he"'s not playable in reg season

Watching Furkan be the alpha during these summer games was pretty fun. Wonder if he and Zhaire picked up any sort of chemistry from this experience. Could be invaluable down the line.

I suspect after his 40 point game, teams got a scouting report on him and hence his two bad games (Games #2 and #3) in summer league. The good news is he had pretty solid performances in Games #4-6, so hopefully he made some adjustments which is a good sign.

Watching Svi hitting shots for the Lakers I was a bit jelly we didn't grab him but then I remembered we got Korky haha Even though their wingspan is average, they both have a nice handle and a pretty looking shot.
Korky is only 20 years old and has room to grow his game and get bigger, I like his upside.

Unfortunately with Zhaire's injury, Korkmaz and Shamet could get more minutes.

Both are still very young, but they could fill a need for perimeter players with good length and shooting.

All depends on which lineups Brett Brown decides to play Korkmaz. If he plays a lot with Simmons and Embiid he'll likely look good as a spot up shooter. Similar to Dario Saric. If he plays with the other bench players, who can't cover his deficiencies, he'll likely look bad. Same as Saric.

I think Korkmaz can look better on his own than Saric was able to, given Furkan's natural playmaking ability.

I certainly think Korkmaz has more scoring talent than Saric. But there is something to be said for being confident and smart. We don't know if Korkmaz is smart enough to fit his game into an NBA role yet
