Saquon Barkley overrated

ESPN posted their "all under 25" team and had Saquon who's never played a snap over Zeke who lead the league in rushing as a rookie and who the Cowboys sucked without last season

Another example of people overrating Saquon

He was also called the best RB prospect since Bo, not even better than Fournette when he came out last year

Hope he proves me wrong, but is a big guy who plays small. When PSU had a banged up line, he didn't do squat. Rooting for the kid, but seems like just another receiving back.

Fournette was looked at as the next AP coming out of HS. Bigger and Stronger than Saquon, and given his size his speed is more impressive too

And Barkley had two college seasons better than he did. I don't really care who did what in high school. Barkley had entire defenses change for him and still put up two dominant years in the big ten. And that even ignores his freshman year. He by far outgained Fournette in the same number of years.

Saquon had really good QB play, Fournette had crap QB play so defenses could stack and box and only focus on Fournette unlike Saquon

Also Etling wasnt terrible.

He was quite amazing at penn state he doesn’t come with Zeke baggage but right now can’t say that . He can however do it all so he’ll be fun to watch

Don't know if he is over rated or under rated. The kid hasn't even taken one NFL snap yet.

The fact that he hasn't played a game yet and is already supposedly better than arguably the best RB in the league makes him overrated

As an Ohio State fan I watched quite a bit of Saquon, and obviously Zeke.

Comparing them in college is no comparison at all - Saquon utterly and completely destroys Zeke - who has the luxury of running behind the best OL in the NFL.

Zeke is not better than Gurley or Bell, and maybe even not David Johnson if he comes back healthy.

But I do agree that Zeke should be over him right now for an all under 25 team. Having said that, Barkley is the best RB I've ever seen in college.

Actually one of his most impressive games was against Ohio State this year.

He had 21 carries for 44 yards but he broke a ton of tackles - OSU just had two guys in the backfield on almost every play.

Since his days with Ohio State - which include the NFL record for most drafted players BTW - Zeke has been in ideal circumstances. If you just watch them, IMO it's clear that Barkley is better.

Dallas was 4-12 the year before they drafted Zeke

Which is why I am quietly confident about the Cowboys going into the season. And - why the Giants O-Line rebuild is key to Barkley. Makes the life of the respective QB's a whole lot easier.
