As if that fact that you FEEL its irrelevant is any evidence that I didn't understand what you said
Alright then. What did I say, what did I mean by it, and how was an honest answer to your question going to rebuke my point?
Take me to school holmes.
I'm not gonna put in three times the effort you have in any of your posts and rewrite everything you said in my own words. The only thread the argument of my 'not knowing what you're saying' hangs on is that you may mean something very particular by 'kobe-fan', like someone whos not a Lakers fan but actually a Kobe fan. But if so why would you begin the statement with 'the only Lakers fans...' So if their was a lack of clarity you can only fault yourself.
Your wording here confused the hell out of me, but it made me realize the same thing could have happened to you. I'll explain again.
I said the narrative of Laker fans who dont want Lebron as being
"Kobe-only fans" (and thus, not true Laker fans) is lazy and simple-minded. The mere fact that there are countless non-Laker/non-Kobe fans who don't like Lebron either is evidence that there are, in fact,
many non-Kobe related reasons to dislike him. Which anyone who hasn't been living under a rock for the past 10 years should already know.
Calling Laker fans who don't want Lebron "Kobe-only fans" is just an ultra convenient, super lazy way to take shots at a fanbase and burn as little calories as possible to post, without having to do any of the 1.3 seconds of critical thinking it takes to realize "oh yeah, duh, Lebron is one of the most polarizing figures in sports history and there are an endless number of reasons to dislike him that have absolutely nothing to do with Kobe Bryant."
Its basically implying if Kobe never existed, all these same fans would like Lebron.... you know, discounting the
dozens of reasons there are not to.
Its low hanging fruit, and anyone who sees a Laker fan not on board with Lebron James and automatically assumes they are a fan of Kobe Bryant only, and not the Lakers, is not even attempting to use their brain.
