DeRozan, while being an avid playoff choker, is still an all-star wing scorer in his prime that has averaged 23 ppg over the last 5 seasons. None of our wings to date have shown that capability. And that's why we weren't in it.

If you think Derozan is overrated then anything we have to offer is beyond laughable. Bam is the only future peice that moves the needle. J Rich is a nice young player and Winslow is viewed around the league as having 2nd round pick value. We have nothing to offer. At least nothing comparable to the level Derozan has provided in this league. Derozan will thrive under Pop and the Spurs. I guarantee it.

Not sure how you can say we had nothing to offer, when we have some talent and plenty of picks. I would have happily given an unprotected future first for kawhi. it sounds like pop rather have derozan than a lotto pick. and i dont disagree derozan might do well with pop, but the spurs just gave away a top 5 player for peanuts.

derozan is no all star in the west imo.

Pop's got a 4 time all-star in DeRozan and a late 1st for disgruntled player that was looking to leave next season. Considering how well San Antonio did without Kawhi last season, I think they did well.

if kawhi doesn't show, i would think toronto would cancel the trade. i dont see that happening, but if it did LOL
