There weren't many long term stars available. Players of Kawhi's caliber aren't often available.
Don't we always whine about not having a superstar, a true top 10 player? When that player is available, you have to take the chance. Especially at such a low cost

Hoping to flip Kawhi for some good young players still. Though I'm content to sit back and enjoy this one year window. Better then watching Derozan pump fake and pass and pump fake and pass and go for Ginobili layups instead of using his 40 inch vertical to dunk all season.
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

if Lakers come calling at TD, i want ingram + hart.

If Lakers weren't willing to give up Ingram in the offseason, i doubt they'll do it midseason.

i'm sure Ingram was in the package but he's still a big question mark when it comes to realizing his full potential. and not when Demar, a star player, is on the other end of another proposal. Ingram might be better than Demar down the road but right now, he isn't.

and plus, weren't they asking for Ingram and the entire world?

Loving the poll result. Stay away from insta, twitter and reddit.
