Heat President Pat Riley said that in the beginning of this reunion, Wade will likely come off the bench.

“Don’t matter,” Wade said. “I can’t wait to embrace whatever role I have.”

The King is back!
Its only fitting, he doesn't belong anywhere else. His mere presence alone will give this team some inspiration and a shot to the system that we need.

Its only right he returns. It should of never ended but both sides came to there senses and returned the balance to the world.

Tonight when he gets announced is going to be title worthy goose bumps. I remember when Zo checked back in, that was awesome but this....Mr. 305, Wade County, 3x Champ, Flash, this was be amazing,.

Pat Riley said we should forget the past and focus on the now and the future. Riles also said warriors don't dwindle on the past.. so I'm following Riley's lead on this.

Welcome home Dwyane Wade.

No matter what anyone thinks, Wade earned his right to play in a Heat jersey whenever he wants.

I am so thrilled he's home. I echo everyone else's sentiments who say he never should have left, but I'm so incredibly grateful he's back. This is the team's greatest player and he gets the chance to finish it all up, right here, at home, with all of us.

I just really hope he comes seriously ready to embrace this team because he could be a huge boost to this squad's development...

In a way it's good that we had the losing streak when we did .. just imagine this move if we were on a winning streak and we happened to lose a game after Wade joined

Anyway, welcome home Wade!

**** as much as I hate him for leaving and being **** to us, seeing him getting an ovation, throwing a lob to Whiteside on his first possession and then hitting a 3, ****, gave me chills.

So now we have an all-star in the team - not just a replacement.

I loved this Wade quote:

http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/nba/miami-heat/article199481289.html wrote:“When I left, Josh Richardson was starting to become a three-point shooter. Now we’re going to him in the fourth quarter, he’s making big baskets. It’s so cool to see Tyler [Johnson] and these guys evolved into good players in the NBA. My job over these next few months is to let them know how good they really are. We don’t have to settle for being young or being in the middle of the pack. We’re good. We’ve got a deep team. That will be our job. Let’s see what happens over the next few weeks or few months.”

D-Wade is back where he belongs.

Given how the Heat welcomed back Wade and Beasley (Multiple times) after Wade's messy exit and Beasley being a huge disappointment, I think it just goes to demonstrate how nasty Shaq's exit was.

His big mouth cost him a chance to return to Miami as part of the Big 3 where he would have won another ring.

Instead, he became a journeyman ring-chaser. But he got what he deserved after he quit on the Heat and trash-talked them for no reason.

I still can't believe they retired his jersey. Totally undeserved.

But it's great to see Wade back where he belongs.

More assists than Dragic, more rebounds than Whiteside.

Do you remember those days when Wade singing a shoe deal and talking about his career with the Heat would be page 1 news even in the general forum. Now it doesn't even make it to his thread of page 6.

Love you DWade. Come back for another season please.

If Wade had never left to play for the Bulls and Cavs, then he would still have that status, I think.

Unfortunately, Wade hit that point where an athlete goes into denial when he is past his prime.... they still think they are worth max money when they aren't.. Thankfully Wade's tour in Chicago and Cleveland opened his eyes as to his current status as an NBA player.

And yes, it would be nice if Wade stays until he retires.
