as his original plan on Lin would probably to sell him high when the opportunity came. But Lin screwed him up with 2 years injury and get not much from Lin's trade.

What are you talking about? Lin was a negative asset with all of those injuries and he managed to dump his contract for some 2nd rounder swaps plus used the cap space created in Lin trade in order to complete the Denver trade which netted us a 2019 1st round (1-12 protected) alongside 2nd rounder.

Agreed, signing Lin was one of Marks' biggest blunders but Lin was a seen as a good deal when it happened since he was coming off a strong season with the Hornets. Neither Marks nor Lin did anything wrong, sometimes **** just does not work out and gotta move on.

I know Lin is negative asset, what I mean above is that reason for Sean to sign Lin at the very beginning was probably only to build up his value and sell him high then. Just find it hilarious that Lin get cheated by Sean but Sean also get screwed by Lin.

Sean didnt get screwed by Lin at all... he got what he needed out of Lin, to rebuild this culture intoa high charecture hard working culture. he then turned lins salary into a first round pick.

it worked out great for marks and the nets.

for lin, he got hurt, so that sucks, and now is back where he was 2 years ago, with an awful team only now he is also rehabbing a major injury

I'm not sure how anyone cheated anyone...its no one's fault that he got injured.

Yeah, well thats no surprise. You guys let the Lin fans troll this board, and make it unbearable for 2 years. Then you hold the door open for them on the way out? Did they get goodie bags too?

Its just like how you guys let Celtic fans troll the board for 3 years.

You guys go to bat for the trolls more than you do the boards actual users.

Thanks guys.

^^^that's unfair, I can personally tell you that they do indeed go to bat for posters on here, I'm one of them. I would have been banned from this site if not for them. true story.

I thought they handled it pretty well. Some of those Lin fan trolls were passive aggressive so it would be hard to bring the hammer down on them. Some of them were outright ass holes and got handled. It is what it is, the storm has passed.

This is pure BS. You really that upset that you can't take parting shots?

I hope the mods know that the board appreciates the work they do.

The mods here are great and did a very good job job overall, much respect and appreciation to them. They were fair to everyone despite having their work cut out for them the past couple of years, that's for sure.

The Nets mods did a great job handling the Lin situation. They were as many Nets trolls trolling Lin fan than Lin fan trolling Nets fan and the Mods did a great job dealing with it. Much better than the Rockets and Lakers mods who went out of their ways to let Lin haters bash Lin fan.
I hope the Hawks moderators does as good of a job.

This is utter bull **** and you know it. Don't come on here spewing goddamn lies now because we shipped Lin out. Kick rocks with your lying ass...early on you had multiple Lin trolls spewing garbage on this board, it took a pulled hamstring and a season ending injury to get rid of them.

Don't let the door tap you on the ass on the way out. Liar.

Mods, please close this thread. Good riddance.

I hope the Hawks moderators does as good of a job.

Clarification:

Clutchfans was an alt-right hellhole, the Rockets RealGM mods were great
Lakersground was not bad, the Lakers RealGM mods were Ivan the terrible power abusers
HornetsPlanet was wonderful, the Hornets RealGM mods were pretty good
Didn't read the blog, anyone? the Nets RealGM mods were awesome!

I suppose he meant mods from Clutchfans and Lakers RealGM?
