I was 2 months old at the end of the 1987 season and my older brother was 20 months old so like basically a newborn and a toddler isn't exactly a let's go to the baseball game kind of plan or idea that they would've thought of and we lived almost 2 hours from County Stadium, so I'm guessing that probably wasn't it. Although I have been told I was an awesome baby so they probably could've gone if they wanted to.

Seriously, we didn't go to a lot of games and I don't really remember having any good chance at getting a ball when we did go but I never would have expected anyone to just hand me a ball because I was a kid and if a player threw me a ball from like 5 feet away and I missed it and somebody else got it, I'd be more pissed at myself for missing an easy souvenir than the person who got it not giving it the ball to me. Why the hell does that kid deserve it? Catch the **** ball or shut the hell up.
