What? He was their own draft pick two years ago. And for a 58th pick he was fine, but we all knew he wasn't an nba playerager almost immediately.

We can talk **** on him but realistically he should have a very promising career overseas and make more money than 98% of us for playing a game...

But yeah not NBA talent.

So we're not allowed to criticize any player in the NBA? By your logic, no fan of Sacramento or the Hornets should be unhappy that their teams are perpetually in the lottery since the GMs are "10000x" better than them.

Saying someone sucks at something means that you're better at them at whatever they suck at.

So restaurant critics are all world class chefs, And movie critics are all Oscar winning actors?

Nader has not had a front office position yet. He might someday be a great gm...

No. You're missing the point. Critics will say what's wrong with the dish or movie, not just say "FOOD SUCKS". Everyone sounds like a moron who says he sucks.

Fine. Here is a movie critic style review of Nader’s play taken from Roger Ebert’s Review of Battlefield Earth:

.5/4 stars
This [player] is awful in so many different ways.

...

I watched [his play] in mounting gloom, realizing I was witnessing something historic, a [player] that for decades to come will be the punch line of jokes about bad [players].

Put Bird in his place last year and maybe the C's reach the Finals. Probably not, but who knows?

Nader was trash from literally day one. I was usually in a good mood when I saw him play though, as it either meant that it was a blowout (win for the C's) or the merciful end of a game (C's got blown out).

are you - by any chance - still very young?

you may not realize this, but you are losing the argument by a mile and you are also contradicting yourself to go along with it.
e.g. you criticize fans because they generalize a players performance with two words without having any experience on the actual field. at the same time you call everyone doing so "morons" because you yourself are generalizing their ability to distinguish talent without knowing them in person. does that sound like hypocracy to you? who gave you the power to make differential diagnosis on someones mental health? maybe you are a doctor ?-)

back to topic, of course fans can evaluate a player with a few words. you don't have to be an actor to recognize bad acting skills. you compare the subject with similar subjects from the field and come to a conclusion. thats the same method we fans use to evaluate a players skill relatively to his peers.

So? This is a stupid teenage argument that often appears when professional athlete gets hate. He gets paid thousands of dollars to do a job... With this logic, you can't ever criticize anything, cant criticize a movie, because you can't direct as well as some hack who gets paid millions of dollars (Zack Snyder), or you cant criticize a surgeon who killed a man, until you learn how to do surgeries better than him...

Uhm, no, it really not what that means.
