He is a guy that can light it up. Motor keeps going and he fits well as an energy big. Contract is super low and trading him would be something that I'd have interest in since we already have a logjam of sorts at the big position. Biggest thing we need is cap relief so if there is any interest in a trade that involves MKG or Marv, that would be the goal.

I would be very much interested in a deal centered around Frank or Willy for Brogdon, but I don't think it makes sense for you guys to trade for another center since you signed Lopez.

I'm interested in packaging him with MKG for an expiring contract. Moving Hernangomez allows us to slide Frank Kaminsky to backup 5. This opens minutes for Miles Bridges at PF. Moving MKG frees up backup minutes for Miles at SF and gets Bacon back in the rotation and probably means more minutes for Monk, Lamb and Graham.

Willy is pretty strong rebounder which was our biggest weakness last season. Lopez ha never been strong on the boards but I think Brook/Willy are a great tandem. Maker still hasn't earned PT other than garbage minutes. Most Bucks fans want Henson gone. Zeller is < Willly and is NG. So how do you guys feel about

Brogdon Henson to you for Hernangomez Williams 1st(lotto protected)

OR

Bledsoe Brogdon Henson to you for Kemba, Hernan Williams

you can have Zeller or Wilson or both if you want

Busted - but it is bledsoe AND not taking the 1st (that is in the first deal) for Kemba

The first deal is my main interest -

( the Kemba thing was a good natured ribbing)

so what about Willy & Williams & 1st-LP for Brogdon & Henson?

Willy isn't the top asset in either proposal. So apparently you really want our first or Kemba. We don't have the backcourt minutes for Brogdon. We need to attach Willy to MKG for an expiring.

Don't mean to tell you about your team's players but RealGM says MKG is an expiring - immediately after this season? So I don't understand "attach Willy to MKG for an expiring?"

No love for Willy in this board?

He's a player I like and I'm surprised he isn't getting more minutes.

Both his per 36 and his advanced stats look pretty good! Averaging 19 points and 13 rebounds per 36, 23 PER, .255 WS/48, 4.8 BPM.

He's playing well within his role. His skillset is like Kanter but less extreme. Kanter is a great interior scorer and rebounder but an utterly horrific defender, so bad that you really can't give big minutes to. Willy isn't that huge a liability on defense but isn't Kanter on offense. He's worth 15-20 minutes a night. More than that, and our defense takes a pretty big hit. He doesn't have the foot speed that we need our starting center to have. He is a per 36 god, but won't be worthy of starter minutes unless his defense improves a lot.

I actually think Willy would be a solid starter, I like him a lot to the point that I think I'm maybe too biased.

Yeah I feel the same way...I feel like every time Zeller gets owned Willy (or is it Billy?) comes in and cleans it all up. He has also been shooting the 3 very well in limited attempts. If he could improve his defense a bit he'd be a force, although I really think his defense isn't THAT bad.

For all of the chatter about our weakest positions being the 4 and 5, I think the 4 is a lot weaker than the 5, especially with MKG out for a bit with a sprained ankle.

I really think his defense makes him too much of a liability against starters. I like having him as a spark off the bench. Between him, Monk, and Parker, it's three guys who can consistently create decent looks. That's three more than we were playing this time last year. I like him as a Kanter-ish backup, as I said above.

He'll probably get like 20 games as a starter this year anyway when CZ has his annual injury. Guess we'll find out
