Another Tweet on Ferrell not signing yet.

What's everyone's guess, free agent signing or trade?

Wiggins for expiring and space. Fits LaVine offer mindset. Young, athletic some NBA success but still hope of even more upside.

I know it’s natural to like the Kings and Wiggins, but I just don’t see it. They just did that extension. They need to see how it works out for at least a year. Couple that with Glen Taylor’s comments and it seems like he’s staying.

Well, our cap space just took a hit. We didn’t wait to sign Yogi with the Room Exception.

Great deal by the kings btw. Not a great job by Yogi's agent but i'm not complaining. I'm high on Yogi - i think we'll almost certainly pick up his 2nd year unless we need money for a star free agent next summer and feel Frank is capable of being a reliable backup finally. I think there will be a bunch of times next year where Yogi looks better than Fox. Not enough to upseat him or cause a real controversy but Yogi is a skilled, supreme effort guy who is 5 years older than De'aaron. As much as we need De'aaron, there were a bunch of times where Frank looked better than him last year, which is a bit scary.

Also, we have some decent perimeter shooting in our 2nd unit. Yogi (37% 3-pt), Buddy (43% 3-pt), Harry who seems pretty confident in the midrange plus whatever JJ can offer us.

I’m ready for that Willie - Oubre swap. Willie could get time on a winning team and hopefully get groomed by Dwight (lol that sounds weird).

Lol

The willie thing is so frustrating. It's obvious the talent is there but he just seems so uninterested on the court.

i know these guys making millions should be self motivated but has he ever played under or alongside someone who actually pushes him and tries to turn him into a tougher player? Boogie was far from a leader so it wasn't him. He's never really had a disciplinarian head coach since he's been here. Maybe ZBo but at his age who knows how impactful his word is. The last guy to ride him may have been Coach Cal, and at Kentucky he was a great defender and a really good shot-blocker. Makes you think...what if the Kings had a KG type to mentor him earlier in his career.

A stunning stat i looked up recently. Willie's played 3 years, 214 games and he's had 1 technical and 0 flagrants! Not exactly numbers you like from your "imposing rim protector". Harry Giles just picked up at least 4 techs...IN SUMMER LEAGUE! I can't even remember Willie being mad during a game. Just seems like he goes through the motions out there. If it wasn't for the way he looks (tattoos/piercings/crazy hair/crazy outfits) he may be known as the softest player in the league. Could you imagine the criticism he would get if he played in a city with a much larger media presence? (ny/chi/la)

After Yogi signing we now have 16 players. Who's the odd man out?

You make great points. Willie has all the athleticism and tools to be successful. His passions just seem to lie elsewhere (Mike Jones 2.0, Bob Ross 2.0, Daymond John 2.0). Money seems to be a huge importance to him so we will likely see the best of him this season. A team with competition in the front court would be savvy to trade for him right now because of that. Unfortunately he won’t bring in much. I mentioned Washington because he would have to play really hard to get minutes from Dwight. He would also have Beal, Howard, and Wall chewing him out. Scott Brooks could be the coach for him as well. It just seems like a match.

I still think they plan to cut McLemore and Davis it just makes sense to hold them for now in case a trade comes up.

It just seems so weird that Ben was asking people on Instagram about places to lease in Sac. Maybe I’m reading into this too much.

Leasing a furnished condo is chump change to them. Its not like he was looking to buy a house.

I hope you are right. I think Ben is a good guy, but I don’t want to see him in a Kings jersey again. He’s just so frustrating.

Where did he even say that? He hasn't posted anything about coming back to sac or a sac jersey or anything.

His twitter/IG bios dont say anything about the kings simply just "NBA Guard"

Found it... Correction he is looking for a furnished home. Again, its smart planning on his part since his future is unknown.

Interesting I didnt catch that. I wonder if he assumed we were keeping him and then had a convo with vlade and realized he was getting cut that's why he hasn't posted anything since.
