In this series I want to talk about greatness that never came due to whatever reason. Ill start the thread of with Generation K.

Big Three of Generation K

Paul Wilson:
With the first pick in the 1994 free agent draft the Mets selected what many thought as the most promising member of the trio, college phenom Paul Wilson. Featuring a strong fastball/slider combo he made the majors in early 1996 after strong minor league numbers. He had often been accused of possessing poor mechanics, and the stress it put on his pitching arm haunted him early. Wasn't there that guy from the Drays?

Don't remember his name but he was like the first pick in a draft. I remember the jays commentators talking about him last year.

Cesar Cendeno: injuries, off-the-field stuff, and an overall lax attitude towards the game. He was widely considered the next Mays when he originally came up.
