I can see his point of view. I wouldnt call Masai the bad guy but I can see where Demars coming from. Its a fair complaint to have.

Derozan is starting to annoy me, making us look so bad. He wasn't treated badly, in fact his abysmal performances over the last 3 years caused that.

He basically just explained that Masai's version of the story was accurate. They were talking as though he would be part of the team, but he was never promised he wouldn't be traded.

All this ridiculous drama because DD went all emo on IG and said things that weren't even accurate.

Looks like Masai told him at the time, he wasn't involved in any deals, atleast that was my impression from Demar interview. And he felt like he was moving forward with the team.

He still seems shocked and upset (that he felt he was lied to, and owed atleast letting him know his name is out there). Maybe masai said don't worry about all the rumors, you with us, how you gonna get better for next year.

He was “playing for a championship” here in Toronto where we gave him 30m to “play with the biggest chip he has ever had”.

I have always been a DeMar fan but I don’t like how he is handling this trade. I know it hurts. But it’s getting to be too much now. He has had his time to cool down. Should know it’s a business. Time to be positive and move on now.
