He fully admitted the mistake was in not seeking a 2nd opinion.

I do wonder how much of this is to blame on SA's medical staff, Danny Green, something/someone else, or multiple/all parties involved.

Based on a few comments I have seen on earlier pages, I must say that just because the medical staff was not looking for something, does not mean that cannot find something wrong with a player though. If my memory serves me well, when Cuttino Mobley was traded to the Knicks back during the 07-08 season, their staff randomly discovered that he had an enlarged heart and he was forced to retire due to the risks of him dying on the court. Of course, Mobley has been showing up in the Big 3 and played in various pick-up tourneys since then...It is a bit of a different situation, but detecting something not intended is possible...

A soft tissue tear is very hard to detect

I also think Danny Green returns to the Spurs next summer

I guess those 8 other doctors that cleared Kawhi are trashed to

Did those Doctors all clear him? Honest question as I don't know. If so could you please provide a link if you can.

I just assumed, and we all know about assumptions, that Kawhi looked for second and third opinions to confirm the diagnosis was correct. If the second doctor he went to had a differing opinion then of course he'd have to see a third. If multiple doctors had conflicting reports then maybe he waited until he had two or three doctors who had the came out with the same diagnosis.

Is there a legit source that says Kawhi actually saw 7 or 8 doctors. I didn't see anyone go on record and say this. Is this people just parroting the Bill Simmons "word on the street".
