Ryan Howard power vs. ANYONE

Post#1 » by GeorgeMarcus » Thu Aug 9, 2007 5:07 am

Basically, is Ryan Howard the best power hitter in baseball? IMO he is counting the time he spent on the DL and even the time before that he was playing hurt.

Thoughs?

This is true, but I try not to be too biased. He's got to be the best power hitter there is.

Its tough to call.

I'd like to see Howard in a HR Derby vs. Adam Dunn and Travis Hafner.

Then we'd see who can hit the ball the furthest.

I'd still take Pujols, Prince, etc on a team over Howard, Hafner, Dunn.

I'll say Howard is the best pure power hitter.

I'm gunna pull a homer card and say Braun and Fielder have great power (obviously).

But...

Nobody touches Ryan Howard when it comes to power hitting.

Ryan Braun is loved here at RealGM.
With all this Prince/Braun lovefest you would think the Brewers would have a 10 game lead by now
