Down goes one, I get it as WeJo makes a good chunk to of money to be waived, and they can try and tag him on as part of a trade. Williams wasn't bad, but he's not young, so not much potential, and the guard position is way too heavy and some SF minutes will be needed for them.

Not a surprise here since he's just a minimum guy. We knew that we have too many players on the roster so someone had to go. Hope some other team snatches him up. I would have liked to keep him if we had space on the roster.

Totally expected, but I feel for the guy. Hopefully he earns himself another opportunity somewhere in the near future.

As it turns out, although he wasn't as useful on the court, because of that lightly-guaranteed contract he signed after the season, CJ will end up making more money from the Clips than Ty Wallace will.

Although there was some buzz about him*

One NBA General Manager suggested that Wallace could potentially net around as much as $9 million over three seasons, according to the source.

and the Clippers offered Ty a little coin to sign for the end of the 2018 season, mostly they played some real hardball with him. But I just don't see a future in the NBA for a tweener who's about a 25% 3-pt shooter [both NBA and G-League]. I think Ty's scrappier, but at least CJ can hit the 3-ball.
