Drummond had same complaint about SVG we had

I for one, am a sucker for good defense, and can't wait to see a 1 2 3 lineup of:

Bruce Brown
Khyri Thomas
Stanley Johnson

and how they change the complexion of a game.

You know neither of those 3 players can score at all right?

Khyri can shoot, Stanley & Bruce can drive & pass. There's also 2 other positions on the floor. There's also more transition buckets when you have the perimeter locked down. You know there's only one ball right?

Stanley Johnson and Bruce Brown are terrible finishing around the rim and Khyri is still long ways to have a reliable shot. Neither of them can score at all, they're dead weight on offense, the defense can play 5 on 2 lmao.

I think both Khyri and Brown are going to be solid players and will be part of our rotation for several years and I absolutely love their defense but right now they can't play together and they definately cannot play with Stanley Johnson, not even in garbage time.

78% favor Winslow currently with 91 votes. I figured it would be a 70/30 Winslow favor. Pistons fans seem to overrate our players pretty consistently compared to how the general population rates them.

Obv they both arent anything special but Winslow was still the better choice of the two. Booker would of been the franchise changing choice. Pretty sick that the warroom was debating Stanley/Booker so close and Winslow wasnt even in the debate. We take Booker(or Mitchell) SVG is still here and everything looks different.

Who is even arguing this? Do you ever stop just complaining. It’s a **** game man not a life mission to make sure everyone is as miserable as you on a sports forum.

It was brought up in this thread that Stanley has proven to be better then Winslow. Another poster was taking the other side. So I made a poll which alot of people voted in to see since this is a common debate by pistons fans and was around draft tinme. You write "I dont even see how this is worth making a thread about in the general forum". Yet the thread garnered 3 pages of replies and 139 votes in less then 24 hours already.

Me looking at facts about our players doesnt make me "miserable". You just have a different way of thinking then me. You want to log into a discussion forum and have everything in the discussion be roses for our no playoff win team in over a decade with a maxed out payroll but thats not how it works in real life. I like to actually talk about the reality of things. Thats the point of discussion forums to have discussions about diff aspects of topics.

As far as me being "miserable and trying to make sure everyone as is miserable on a sports forum". Thats your perception because you read my posts being right about alot of stuff over the past year that you take the other side of me often like Blake trade being awful, SVG sucking and he needs to get fired this season, us not getting any good free agents this year(people had long debates with me we would get Barton or Evans to come here with no cap space and just a MLE) , and Winslow being better then Stanley and it makes u feel miserable to be wrong. It just a game of basketball and this is the internet no need to let it affect u bro!

SVG treated me like ****. I took 10 3s and didn't make any of them cuz I suck. But I managed to stay on the court cuz of defense as if it matters when I can't score.

JJ Reddick on his podcast basically said when Steve Clifford was the asst coach in Orlando that he was the positive influence on players when everyone was tired of SVG.
