I'm a PS4 Pro, XBONEX and Switch owner.

Saw a discussion about Zelda BOTW - one of my all-time favorite games, if not number 1. I've put around 220 hours into it and prolonged it by just messing around the world, doing whatever I want and go wherever I want. I'm still finding random little things. Absolutely love the game. It has its flaws of course, no game is perfect, but an overall excellence in game design.

Just recently started playing God of War. Really like it so far. My girlfriend has been playing it too and thinks it good but a bit linear, which to me is fine. Open world games are overflowing and can get tiresome so I'm fine with it. What I like the most about the game, apart from its looks and seamless action-to-cutscene design, is the Norse mythology and I love hearing my own language (Icelandic) in such a huge game. Makes me smile. Other games with Icelandic words or even complete narrative are For Honor and Jotun, which has the entire narrative in Icelandic. The mythology in GOW is very well handled here and is gritty and brutal.

Yeah, BOTW really is an incredible game. I really urge anyone on the fence about getting a Switch to go out and get one if you have the chance. It really is an amazing console that’s only going to get better as it’s library expands.

A must have title IMO if you are into this type of genre.

I’ve been hearing so many great things about this game. My only issue is I’ve never been a JRPG guy. I’ve tried to get into the genre multiple times but it’s just something about the turn based combat and grindy nature of these type of games that just dosent grip me.

I’m still really intrigued by this game though and might just have to give it a shot. The art style is so unique and people are raving about it.

I guess I should mention right off the bat that I absolutely love JRPGs.

I would suggest downloading the demo for it first as your progress will transfer over to the main game and see if it is something you can sink your teeth into. Definitely won't lie to you, there is a lot of grinding in this game to level up but the battle system is so engaging that it's not even a bother IMO. It is turn based combat, but the strategy behind it all with the ability to stack up commands makes each fight play out very differently depending on how you want to approach things.

The art style, music and story of these eight characters are incredible.

Never been a fan of JRPGs and I've tried to get into those but no luck. However, OT is interesting. The artstyle alone is really pulling me in. Love the 16-bit SNES look with modern bells and whistles.

Yup love my Switch. Use the PS4 Pro and XBONEX on my OLED, which looks really nive, but I actually spend more time on the Switch in handheld mode. There is something really nice about console gaming in your hands, wherever and whenever.

Any Mega Man X fans in here? This collection is a must buy IMO. You can get the whole package physically for $39.99 or buy them separately through the digital store depending on which system you decide to buy it on. Went with it on the PS4 since the XBOX controller does not work for me with this type of platformer and the Switch does not provide a physical copy of the 2nd half of the collection...

NBA Live 19 is certainly going for it this year. I am really liking the new additions they are adding to their game while tightening up their game play even more. Just might be some legit basketball competition in the video game world finally...

Does anyone here play Dragon Ball Fighterz? I want that game so damn bad, how has your experience been with it? Has anyone tried the 3v3 option yet? Any lag online?

When I get my PS4 back either that or God Of War will be my first purchase, leaning toward DBFZ.

I always hear about cool new updates and stuff from Live but until the regular gameplay is as good as 2K, it'll still be an inferior basketball game. 2K is slipping a bit though so there is a really good chance for it to be a better game in the future, but don't think it's close yet.

Well the updates only applied to Live 18 and Live 19. The other games are irrelevant in the franchise. It is certainly getting the attention of 2K because they have subtly been stealing some of Live's game play mechanics and they are definitely doing it in 2K19. Live definitely has a long road ahead of themselves on catching 2K's success but I think they are finally starting to turn the corner. I think they are going to close the gap a bit this coming year.

I have it. The game is amazing. I didn't really go online with it just yet as I wanted to hone up my skills on the sticks before playing others. For the most part, there should be no issue with lag on that game based on what I have read and what my friends have told me about the experience online.

That game is a classic. EA needs to bring back college football. Wish 2K would bring back their college hoops.

Love it. But I'm only going to buy the Collection #1, was only interested in playing until X5 or maybe X6, zero interest in 7 and 8, so I won't buy the 2nd game.

I think I'll get it on Steam, PS4 price is way higher for me :(
