He’d probably be a better ultimate frisby player than a basketball player.

He should look into it....

He does look in much better shape. I am hopeful he gets playing time this year and earns that $8M.

In all serious, me too. He is very coordinated and has good bbiq. It wouldn't be bad if he showed he is a viable back-up C.

Just thinking about Sean kilpatrick and the wing FAs the Bulls have signed.
Imo Kilpatrick was proven to be better than most of the wings on the roster, Denzel, Hutch , possibly Holiday.

Cost wise Kilpatrick was close to league minimum and was non guaranteed so im not seeing how his contract was a hindrance in any way.

Point guard is the weakest positional group imo. Perhaps i could have gotten on board with a Payne/Grant bench but Payne/Arni
Is g-league caliber imo.

Yes. Point is the team weakness.

Dunn IS a good passer. Don't mean to short change him. He's also SUPER athletic. Props there too.

He lacks leadership or charisma with the team though. He also lacks a three that commands respect which forces him to play a drive-and-kick style of offense that leads to high turnovers because the pass is a last-minute, ill-thought-out 'ejection seat' after he's drawn a bunch of defenders within five feet of himself, under the rim.

It's good that we have bigs that can shoot the 3, but, really only Holiday and Valentine seem both able and inclined. Lavine can, but, seems more inclined to go to the rack.

I agree that Kilpatrick showed more than Valentine or Holiday, but I think Valentine could improve to be better this year, and I'd rather see if he can become a viable back-up SG this season than go another year without knowing so we can know what to do with that role next season.

On Dunn, I think he has a shot at a decent 3pt game...he surprised me with some stretches of decent shooting. That said, this year, we should be able to play 4 men out, so his ability to drive and kick may be more valuable than last year. I think his biggest challenge last year was (due to injury) a lack of knowing where guys would be in our offensive sets. Having a more set line-up should help that too.
