You may recall how my soccer team has not been the best recently. Last season we escaped relegation with a last-minute winning streak. This season, so far, is a little different.

São Paulo, now in 2nd place, beat Corinthians, our arch-rivals: 3-1

Ran into Thad Young and Rondae Hollis Jefferson at City Walk Universal Orlando this weekend. Seems like Universal is an NBA player vacation hot spot. Volcano Bay is the best water park ever hands down.

Haven't been to water park in 20+ years :( my favorite was Typhoon Lagoon. Love that tidal wave in the pool :D

They are amazing but that climb up the stairs is rather taxing

I put my dog down today, so i'm shambles personified. His 14th b-day would've been on august 9th, so I might be working out my tear glands in the gym.

I've had lots of dogs in my time (and other animals). Its always tough. Grew up with one dog from about age 6 until I was almost out of college. That one hurt a lot. He had to be put down because of a tumor almost 20 years ago. After it happened we brought him back and buried him in the back yard. Still think about him all the time.

He and another dog we had had puppies. We kept them and they all lived 11-15 years as well. They're all gone now. Most got buried in the yard too.

Once the hurt goes you still have lots of good memories and pictures.

I think I'm all cried out lol. I got him when I was 11, so I spent the better part of my life with the little bugger. He was cool a couple of days ago, but old age hit him all at once and he was too weak to even eat food. Life is wild like that.

No more dogs for me! If anything, I'm settling for a cat. I'ma be the dude going in his 30s with a cat.

Lol. I have a dog and cat now. The cat is low maintenance and she and the dog are best friends.

Hi everybody ! Random longtime french RealGMer here !

So, I'm sending all the Miami/Florida people on this forum because me and my girl chosed our vacation for next year and it will be... Miami !

So my fiancée is an ex travel agent so she already her own benchmark and gave a 10 pages document about stuff todo there etc... Then I was like hey I'm a RealGMer for 8 years so it's time to have a return on investment and ask my dear fellow Miami forum fans what's good to do at their home :D

So some random thoughts/questions (It already would be gold if I could have some answer):
- It will be our first time in the US !!! During 2 weeks
- Our idea is to reside in Miami, rent a car then do all the rest by ourself.
- We absolutely hate All Incluse resort stuff or guided tour.
- We're used to Airbnb when we travel (so any idea for an ideal location ?)
- We are roughly around 30 yo me and her. So we're open on any night stuff to do (even tho we aren't into clubbing that much anymore) ?
- We would like to go to Key West (is it really an interesting place in itself ?)
- Also Orlando for Universal/Disney one day or two as my girl is really really into that type of stuff.
- I want to do a ride of your guys typical boat that I forget the name ! Just like in movies
- Sorry for the cliché, but I will not go out of the state of Florida as long as I didn't smoke a cigar with a random old ass cuban.
- We would like to go during any month of March/April/May (on a weather level which one is the better)
- How much for decent NBA tickets for going to see the Heat ?
- At the end of those 2 weeks I want to feel like "Damn, really I saw the real South Florida/Miami"

I'm open on any tip, anything to do, anything to avoid etc...

I know I sound like a guy who talk to a travel agent but hey... I rather ask the people
