Player wise, I don't see anything else that makes a ton of sense. My assumption is that it would need to include picks.

Would u trade Taurean Prince for Andrew Wiggins?

At first it would say 'yes', but then looking at last year's numbers, i'm not sure. Seems like Wiggin's stock (along with his contract) is at an all time low right now.

If he doesn't regress further this year, I'd trade Bazemore for Wiggins.

This could work, even with Wiggins' bad contract. If things don't work out after one season, I think the Hawks can end up dumping Wiggins' contract to the Raptors on draft night for a first round pick.

Mostly pretty random stuff from a writer, many for the Hawks:

1 Trade Idea for Every NBA Team Post-Free Agency

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2788613-1-trade-idea-for-every-nba-team-post-free-agency

Atlanta Hawks Get: Sterling Brown, Thon Maker, Tyler Zeller
Milwaukee Bucks Get: Dewayne Dedmon

Brooklyn Nets Get: Kent Bazemore
Atlanta Hawks Get: Kenneth Faried, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson

Los Angeles Lakers Get: Jeremy Lin, 2019 second-round pick (via Charlotte Hornets)
Atlanta Hawks Get: Luol Deng, 2019 first-round pick, 2021 first-round pick (top-20 protected)

San Antonio Spurs Get: Dewayne Dedmon, Jeremy Lin
Atlanta Hawks Get: Pau Gasol, 2019 first-round pick (via Toronto Raptors)

Most realistic:
New Orleans Pelicans Get: Kent Bazemore
Atlanta Hawks Get: Alexis Ajinca, Solomon Hill, 2019 first-round pick (top-20 protected)

I'd do the Lakers trade in a second.

The Pelicans trade I do if the pick was top-10 protected.

Ya top 20 protected for the Pelicans is the not even including the pick cuz no way Pels get a top 10 record. It’s gotta be like top 10 or 14.

Bucks - in Bazemore - Out Bledsoe
Hawks - In G. Hill - Out Bazemore
Cavs - In Bledsoe - Out G. Hill

Hawks do it since Hill is basically on a 1 yr contract with $1m guaranteed 2018-2019 and gets waived next summer. Hill can play the 2 guard and depth at the PG since he is a combo guard.

Bucks get Bazemore to reunite with his old Coach
Cavs get Bledsoe with 1 yr left on his contract

Couple teams have already offered 1st round pick and cap space for Bazemore. So this offer is just garbage.

Hey Hawks fans, we’re talking about a few different kind of Bazemore scenarios on our board if you care to share your thoughts?

Bucks trade: Snell or Delly + Thon + Wilson
Hawks trade: Bazemore

Or:

Bucks trade: Brogdon + Henson + Snell
Hawks trade: Bazemore + Dedmon

Delly can't come here for obvious reasons. I don't think our front office does a deal that doesn't have a pick coming our way. Thon and Brogdon are interesting to me. What's Brogdon's deal? Is he RFA after this year?

Bucks would likely prefer to trade Snell since he has an extra year on his deal if the Hawks really don’t want Delly that badly.

I could see us including a 2nd but i’m not sure about a 1st considering we owe Phoenix one as well.

Brogdon is a RFA up after this season. He is a big combo guard 3 and D type. If he were clearly able to guard and penetrate against quicker 1’s I don’t think we consider trading him.

Basically if Brogdon isn’t our PG of the future it might not be worth resigning him in addition to acquiring Bazemore. Or we pass on Bazemore and Brogdon is our SG moving forward.

Don't want Delly.

Otherwise pretty good. Wilson can probably play center, can shoot. Maker might benefit from playing in a low pressure situation, can shoot some. You guys giving up on these two youngsters already? Snell has three more years, that's a bit much but acceptable. Would be a plus if he could be switched onto a 1 defensively.

Or:

Bucks trade: Brogdon + Henson + Snell
Hawks trade: Bazemore + Dedmon

Brogdon is nice, but he's older and RFA coming up. Add Snell and Henson, that could be a tons of salaries with limited upside. This would only be done as some kinda championship move if everyone pans out. Maybe later.

What's wrong with him playing SG?

I have some doubts about MIL trading Henson, even if they get a C like Dedmon. He was their 3rd best player in On/Off court Net value, just behind Antetokounmpo and Bledsoe, meaning he was great in their system. Now, there was a change of coach, and maybe Bud would prefer Dedmon...

I always kinda thought Brogdon would be the kind of guard that would pair well with Young. Only problem is his rFA status imho.

I want no parts of Smell, Henson or Wilson. Honestly, I could see Buttz being a good influence for Wilson for you guys if he's willing to work.

For Baze I think the it's salary relief, draft picks, young talent that we control for the foreseeable future. I think the Hawks will want any 2 of those 3 things. Otherwise they are happy to keep him.

Agreed on above 2 posts. Gladly keep the Gaze but Brogdon (sounds like a nerd movie character the a grune (sp?) movie) has always peaked my interest as well. He reminds me of a smoother moving but less pass saavy Andre Miller from the past. He knows how to play the game and is consistent when he plays. Also plays within and to his strengths which is great. You always want a guy that know who he is and what he can bring to a squad.

Return to Atlanta Hawks
