The OTHER 2-way player
Nuggets signing G DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell to C Thomas Welsh. DAP looked good in the SL, I think he deserved a shot.

Re: The OTHER 2-way player
Yeah, he looked good but behind Harris & Murray & Beasley & Morris (and Thomas for now) and probably Barton - it seems like a waste of a two-way contract --- unless they are planning a trade.

If he turns into an asset, there are options aren't there ?? And Beasley is coming up on contract year so....

Re: The OTHER 2-way player
Seems we also signed a training camp F in 6'9" Emmanuel Terry, a high energy D-II player

Re: The OTHER 2-way player
We don't really have room on the roster for Terry but he was arguably the best guy we had on the summer league team that was not already on the roster at this point.
I personally think signing Akoon Purcell is a bad sign for Beasley, and think it may be time to trade Beasley.

Re: The OTHER 2-way player
Enough bad sign for Beasley is the presence of M.Morris and I.Thomas. But the problem with the eventual MB trade is the fact that his value is downgraded in the meantime, so I'm not sure can we get now for 2016 #19 pick even 2nd round pick after the mediocre rookie season and even worse sophomore year. The Rebel wrote:We don't really have room on the roster for Terry but he was arguably the best guy we had on the summer league team that was not already on the roster at this point.

In the long run it's just may be best to trade Beasley. He's buried so deep on this depth chart that it doesn't look like he gonna play. If/when he gets traded perhaps he can become the next Will Barton to his next team and the Nuggets will replace an asset who has a little chance to develop into a draft pick, where we have had some success.
