This article is saying Hayward lost approximately 28 assists in the '15-'16 season and Chris Paul gained as much as 34, due to boxkeeping bias.

Overall I post there to try and keep hot takes under control. I also have to shut down trolling. I've been able to get troll threads from c's and raptors fans locked after pointing out to a mod that a 100% troll topic shouldn't be 15 pages long and open. That celtics one calling sixers a treadmill team, and people were posting in it like it was a serious topic.
Stillwater/SuperDario/YogurtProducer/CoachD are the four that I think are the worst, CoachD for just sucking across the board, and Yogurt because he's an uber homer who tries to come off impartial, but is constantly wrong. Last year he made a thread on the GB that the Celtics defense wasn't a top defense, then bumped it when they had a rough defensuve week early in the year, then never bumped it again for some reason. Dukes_wild still won't acknowledge how wrong he was about Tatum but otherwise is whatever.
I have tried to be reasonable with all of them, shockingly it never works out.
That was Double Helix not Yogurt Producer.
Well damn my bad, disliking the wrong poster for no reason.

Re: Gordon Hayward Thread
SuperDario is just a massive homer without any sense of reality. But I kind of like his positivity and most of his hot takes are not worse than comparable takes from Celtic fans. Dorkestra on the other hand is a really bad troll and derails every thread. At least I can still laugh about him.
The Raptors fans on this board are lost. They must have experienced a communal meltdown after another playoff sweep . All the **** talk last season, quoting several stats like SRS and convincing themselves that this is the year. The confident talk about the current team seems to be total deflection.

Re: Gordon Hayward Thread
I don't mind the Sixers fans positivity as much, Embiid IS good and there is still a chance Simmons makes a major leap as "that guy" I suppose.....they have young marketable guys.
Fultz? I guess it remains to be seen. The team is set up well for success but they just match up horribly with Boston so IMO it's a lost cause there at times. After Philly won the SB, they got more positive again I felt. Philly fans and Boston fans though will never ever mesh completely, two big markets with rabid fans. The back and forths with Celtics/Sixers fans seems normal to me though and almost like they are chasing us but even they know deep down it's going to take a while. I have more fun when we play Philly too just because they can be annoying, but they don't seem like the desperate creeps sitting at the bar hitting on you like Raptors fans.
Raptors I don't get the hype as much about as time goes by and 90% of their fans seem desperate. I don't get the feeling Kawhi wants to be in Toronto, at all. Seems like a very weird pairing to me. As if a trade "had to happen" and somehow they found a suitor from Toronto willing to cough up a starting player who can contribute. It feels almost like an arranged marriage in Toronto. And who the hell is Coach Nurse and why is he supposed to be some upgrade? Has there even been much publicly yet or anything from Kawhi himself? People can say what they want about Irving, he was talking as soon as he got traded to Boston and there was a lot going on.
Not saying Toronto won't make some noise this year, they absolutely can and might even be a top seed. But I am not feeling those guys, they just wreak of desperation from the team to the fans. They told us all last year it was their year too. Kawhi can be amazing yes, but it still feels odd to me.
A big star or two likely IMO will end up on the Lakers next year. I feel Lebron is using this season perhaps as a "feel out" year without expectations of being in the finals. He will learn the Lakers, get a feel for it, settle in LA and decide what needs to be done. I would be stunned if Lebron doesn't have a plan for next offseason already set, I can't see him going there for 3-4 years just for the family and the parties and politics only and never having a plan to get deep into the postseason. Whether it's getting Kawhi, KD, AD or anyone or a few of them......
And the Pacers/Bucks are good teams too that will fight hard.
On topic, Gordon is cool. Can't wait to see "Daddy" back in action soon again! We have a daddy in Gordon and an uncle in Kyrie. If this isn't meant to be (and they share a birthday too) I don't know what is!!

Since we are talking about SuperDario, here's Cave feeding him, and a bunch of other Sixer fans, a heaping pile of **** to eat before the series started last spring.

Oh Dorkstra, he of the opinion that Kyrie is the 9th or 10th best pg in the league, IIRC.

I admit the Sixers fans here can be annoying, like little kids or something.
Kyrie told them what is up though already.

Ball was one of the more hilarious last seasn. I mean he passes the to a guy, the guy then dribbles, posts up, etc and eventually scores andddd... Ball got an assist.
Good assessment:
PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.

This was basically one of the funniest moments of last season and we actually won that game in the 2nd half if I'm not mistaking.
Also darn Gordon, I need more highlights if you dunking. Feels good man.

Seriously!
It’s impressive the workload he has put in to rehab and still find different ways to improve himself and his game. Love the work ethic of this team.
