I noticed that if Suns will start the lineup of Knight-Booker-Warren-Ariza-Ayton (the most probable starting 5 imo) then their jersey numbers will be:
1 11 12 22 3

Sorry, it's offseason :P

The problem with this is that the talent level in this next draft (I think this draft has less talent then 2016 draft) plus the odds for tanking have been changed so that it isn't really a good option any more. Also if we hope to bring in some vet talent in free agency next summer we need to perform enough so that it looks like we are near to making the playoffs.

Agreed. I have a hard time seeing the FO go ahead with tanking given the talent already on the roster (not to mention their relatively higher rate of success drafting in the late lotto (Booker, TJ) as opposed to the top (Ayton, Jackson, Dragan).

Bodes well for Bridges

Can't believe the luck of the 76ers! Mikal should count his lucky stars that he avoided the 76ers curse.

An MRI has reportedly revealed a Jones fracture in Zhaire Smith's left foot and he's expected to undergo surgery.

Smith suffered the injury during a developmental camp for NBA players in Las Vegas on Monday, and with training camp right around the corner, this is terrible timing for Philly's No. 16 pick. A Jones fracture is a tricky injury that typically involves a lengthy recovery time, and if does indeed elect to go under the knife to correct this issue, that could do it for his rookie season. He'll meet with a foot specialist later this week to get a second opinion, but for now, he's completely off the radar in all re-draft formats.

He is wearing Puma too. I am a little bit concerned about it.

I feel like people put too much stock in shoes being the cause of player injuries. Are Anthony Davis and Kyrie Irving often injured because they wear Nike? Are Embiid and Danilo Gallinari injured because they wear Adidas?
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

I don't think it's anything Puma related but it's some tough luck. Hope he has a speedy recovery

Ayton didn't like Nike's shoes at UA. He was taking them off on the bench toward the end of the season. Puma has millions invested in him, so hopefully they get it right.

Stunned that Okafor got a deal (with the Pelicans). Sounds like a 2 year vet min deal only partially guaranteed. I thought he was China bound for sure.

Actually I like the Monroe signing for the Raptors since they have a one year window - so why not get through the East against Embid and the Celtics.

As for the Pelicans - I think Randle and Okafor will make up for Boogie. The loss there is Rondo

Both teams to me are much improved.

The Clippers moving Dekker means they only have one player to go - so hard to believe - they just might be keeping PatBev and MilosT

Rondo is not so much of a loss since they got Payton. Same player, just doesn't have the experience that Rondo does.

I mean... kinda. Rondo was once an incredible player and occasionally that player shows up. Knows everything about his opponents; a true student of the game. Payton has had the occasional flash, but as we've seen, he can also go weeks without having an okay game. There's a reason Rondo got a serious FA offer, while Payton did not.

Rondo, when engaged, is in a different league. Chicago probably beats a good Boston team in the playoffs last year if he doesn't go down, since he was picking them apart early in the series. And he really helped the Pelicans last year. I think it's a current downgrade, but looking at AD's age, it's probably not a bad decision to try Payton out to see if he can be a worthy backup. I think he should be an above avg backup PG.

Quite frankly I think it was a poor decision not to keep Payton for what he ended up signing for. I expect Payton to do well and be yet another McDonough cast off to make the playoffs in another city.

Not saying Payton can't improve but Payton had 4 seasons prove he's more than just a playmaker with a very inconsistent shot. Also we can't assume Payton would have signed with us for the same as what he signed for.

I originally questioned why the Knicks would stretch and waive Noah....
Then I saw this article: http://www.tmz.com/2018/08/07/joakim-noah-strips-naked-in-venice/
