Been beating this drum for years.. Martins doesn't need Magic to win to make $ and that's what he really cares about. He can go to Florida Mall and sell buy 1 get 50 free tickets to the tourists and they can cheer for the Euro Star like Manu/Kanter/Caspi etc etc to fill the stadium with.

Lower Bowl is getting emptier and emptier but that Upper Bowl is somewhat packed with these tourists who come just to cheer for the other team and euro players.
A scoring guard.. never heard of one. :roll:

Indeed: let the Texas teams feature home games in Mexico; Orlando does have a lot more capacity to build a strong fan base in Puerto Rico. Looking at a wiki, the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum seems more than capable of hosting NBA games.

I guess in the end this is more about building stronger TV deals than generating actual fan interest.

I've been there before, and it could certainly work. And with all that PR has been through this past year it could really fit into an NBA Cares package.
