Man, Bush owned the Cubs last season, but his first outing of the season will be one to forget

Its one game.. yes he needs to get out.. but he doesnt suck by far for a #4 pitcher. He had a good ERA and win loss total last year. Everyone has off days. This happens to be that day.

The good news it this is the first inning.. so we do have 9 innings to come back.

Already down 6.. might as well let him finish the inning so we dont kill our bullpen for the whole series.

Why? It's already over, might as well not waste your bullpen.

Ruffed up a bit but came back strong. Disappointing with the hitting but Hill was on fire today.

I liked how Bush settled down after the 1st inning, but he ultimately lost the game right from the get-go. First start nerves, lack of control, or just the Cubs hitters doing their thing, glad that he got all that out of him in one inning early in the season. Credit the Cubs hitters for taken advantage of him. Also, Rich Hill, wow. Nasty, nasty curve.

I was angry during the game, I'm over it now. It's a long season and the next game is in 13 hours. Time to move on.

I'd have to think about it for awhile, but that wasn't the point. The argument was that the Brewers are superior in every aspect and that's simply not true. In any case, I think both teams will be fighting for the division this year.
