Nets 2018-19 Schedule Release (Nets Open @ DET, vs NYK)
I’m sure we’ll open against Cleveland or Detroit before facing one of TOR, PHI or MIA for the opener.

Conspiracy theorists rejoice: Our sole ESPN game is right after the trade deadline.

Have you guys looked at the end of the season schedule? especially the last 10 games?
Bet the under. Whoever handles scheduling in the NBA front office must have been told to make sure that the Nets end the season with a lock at getting a top 7 pick.

It should be a good game.
Hey if Jimmy Butler is really going to leave, what do you think about:
Spencer Dinwiddie, Demarre Carroll, Denver 2019 1st for Jimmy Butler?
Two expiring yet very serviceable players that can help during your run this season and a 1st rounder that could be a late lottery pick if Denver barely misses the post season in a packed West.

The league really hates us. Knicks as a home opener is just cruel. Seriously trying to embarrass the team to start the year.

I didn't want to say it but yeah, you've got to love that the first game we play in Brooklyn will be a road game.
I will probably be furious during that game, win or lose.

We have the second easiest schedule. The KP-less Knicks don’t concern me.
Besides, we were supposed to open up Barclays against the Knicks on Nov 1st 2012.

I think they only do that if something terrible happens and they're already boxed out of the playoffs before the trade deadline. Realistically, I think their goal this season is to just win a damn playoff series - they've only reached the second round once, 15 years ago - and Butler would be crucial in doing that.

We have 3 games with the Knicks guaranteed to be before a KP return. There's a chance all 4 are without KP. The earlier the better.

I'm liking the schedule, personally - as MDB noted earlier, we're playing pretty good teams down the stretch. Would be crushing for us to pull an Orlando and needlessly inflate our win total against terrible teams in March/April.

It's not about the Knicks being good or bad, it's about their fans taking over our home opener. That's just embarrassing.
I can't decide whether to buy a season ticket 10 game sortof plan or try to play the StubHub game during the season.

That late season stretch all but ensures that we'll be lottery bound.
I mean we might surprise a team or two but in reality thats 9 straight losses leading into a season ender versus Miami and the Nets have mailed in the last two season closers so I don't expect that to be different. ending the season on a 10 game losing streak will be depressing despite the benefit.

Re: Nets 2018-19 Schedule Release (Nets Open @ DET, vs NYK)
Rotations?
Russ/Napier/Pinson
Levert/Dinwiddie/Musa
Crabbe/Harris/Graham
RHJ/DMC/Dudley/Kurucs
Allen/Davis/Faried
Kenny's preference for small-ball line-ups made me think we could be looking at something like this/
No doubt Napier and Davis are top role players and should be part of the rotation. They know how to win more than the guys we have.
Ball-handlers: Dlo, Levert, Dinwiddie, Napier, Musa.
Wings: Crabbe, Levert, Harris, Musa, Graham, RHJ, DMC.
Bigs:
Fro, Ed Davis, Faried, Kurucs, RHJ?
I can definitely see some trades going down at some point because we have too many forwards and we need to trim the fat. We need quality over quantity. I can see DMC to Rockets or some contender at the deadline.
