Having a hard time picking my jaw up from off the ground after watching the reveal video on the game play for Red Dead Redemption 2...

So many incredible games dropping within the next four months.

Mixed feelings about it. His old jokes were clearly offensive and in poor taste. According to those close to him they were made when he was basically trying to shock people. There are plenty of comedians that try and cultivate a following and brand by doing it. However that doesn't excuse the jokes. So I get the reasoning behind a company, especially one as kid friendly as Disney, distancing themselves from a guy who made pedophilia jokes.

On the other hand, Gunn has apparently changed and done a lot of maturing and growing since then. I think the outpouring of support from his coworkers is a testament to that. I can't think of many others who were embroiled in this level of controversy and had their peers come to their defense to this level. And as a society shouldn't we encourage people with offensive comments/views to change, without fear that they will be punished decades later for how they used to be?

Reports are Disney is considering rehiring him. I think they should, but i'll understand if they don't. (note: I also think there's a difference in the way we treat different professions for this, a director of a movie franchise is different than a public official).

I think I've got the rest of the year scheduled. May have to add a game or two if the Magic really suck early and I can't bear to watch both halves and play a game instead.

Aug-Sep: Zelda and Mafia III

Oct: AC Odyssey and RDR II

Nov:. Fallout

Dec:. Smash

I might scoop up Tomb Raider on Black Friday for late December.

That is a nice lineup right there and just goes to show you how great of a year it has been for gaming and we aren't even at the end of the year yet cause there are some other titles that could easily be added to your list.

As a Dota 2 fan, they're releasing Artifact for PC at the end of November. Going to be a card game like Hearthstone if anybody is into that sort of thing.

Beyond happy I preordered this as soon as it was announced at E3. This game is going to be a wonderful stress reliever for me just like the last Doom was which was an excellent rebirth of a timeless classic.

All my hype in September is centered around Spider-Man PS4 right now. I seriously cannot wait to play that game.

Anyone playing BO4 beta? My son is always in it and I played last and this weekend for a little and really like it. Treyarch rarely dissapoints even though to me COD it's one of those games that are like hey I have half an hour to spare, not like back in the days that I was always playing. Also been playing Mafia III pretty good so far.

Has anyone here ever played Shenmue 1 or 2? Those games are pretty great you can get a Shenmue bundle for $26.99 if you pre-order the game which comes out on the 20th.

I haven't gotten the chance to try it yet. Would like to, but busy with work and when I get home go straight to Rainbow Six: Siege or Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep.

If you pre-ordered or have a code beta runs thru tomorrow 1pm. I believe it's open beta on PC.
