Allen/Davis/Faried

Kenny's preference for small-ball line-ups made me think we could be looking at something like this/

No doubt Napier and Davis are top role players and should be part of the rotation. They know how to win more than the guys we have.

Ball-handlers: Dlo, Levert, Dinwiddie, Napier, Musa.

Wings: Crabbe, Levert, Harris, Musa, Graham, RHJ, DMC.

Bigs:
Fro, Ed Davis, Faried, Kurucs, RHJ?

I can definitely see some trades going down at some point because we have too many forwards and we need to trim the fat. We need quality over quantity. I can see DMC to Rockets or some contender at the deadline.

id assume carroll would start, at least early on,,,,

Russell | Crabbe | Carroll | RHJ | Allen
Dinwiddie/napier | Levert | Harris | Faried | Davis

musa jurucs probably spend the most of the first few months in the d-league. Graham.dudley probably get a tnn of DNPs being put in and out of the rotation and filling inf or injury

I can't decide whether to buy a season ticket 10 game sortof plan or try to play the StubHub game during the season.

stubhub is probably cheaper

It's not the league's fault that this happens. The Clippers have had the same issue ever since they moved to LA in 1984.

Gotta keep growing the fan base in Brooklyn by putting out a product that the locals can be proud of and will want to support.

I'm liking the schedule, personally - as MDB noted earlier, we're playing pretty good teams down the stretch. Would be crushing for us to pull an Orlando and needlessly inflate our win total against terrible teams in March/April.

That late season stretch all but ensures that we'll be lottery bound.

I mean we might surprise a team or two but in reality thats 9 straight losses leading into a season ender versus Miami and the Nets have mailed in the last two season closers so I don't expect that to be different. ending the season on a 10 game losing streak will be depressing despite the benefit.

A 10-game losing streak that increases the odds of landing a top-3 pick is perfectly fine by me.

The hope is that the player you get by losing at the end will be good enough to prevent losing streaks like that to happen while he's a Net.

Yeah, I think the schedule is great. If we're looking to do a subtle tank, there's nothing better than facing opponents who are jockeying for playoff positioning. At the same time, if we're actually in contention the end of the season, the Nets could treat it like an early start to the playoffs where they are facing good teams and they need to take every game very seriously.

The schedule is a win/win in my book.

I’m from Germany and in New York, when the Nets play the Warriors on Sunday, October 28th. I would love to visit this game, since it would be my first NBA experience. But good seats in sections like 109 or 111 cost around 300-450$. Are they going to get cheaper closer to gameday or is there a chance, that all tickets are gone if I’m waiting too long?

I don't think the tickets will be gone but the price definitely won't go down.

Closing the season on a 10 game losing streak will look great to free agents I imagine  :-?

I only said it was good for the draft pick. I didn't say anything about free agents lol.

Tbh, I don't know how to feel about the free agents.

Butler and Kyrie are nice but if they are the only two stars on the team and have max deals, we wouldn't be good enough to win and I'd also be concerned about how injury prone they seem to be, especially Kyrie. At the same time, maybe signing those two pique the interest of AD and we'd still have the assets to trade for him. At that point, we'd be a true contender but it's risky to do all of this if you're just hoping AD would be interested and NOP would definitely trade him to us.

Also, if we end up having cap space for two maxes that means DLo or RHJ were renounced or traded. If one gets renounced that sucks because we let them go for nothing. They either need to play like stars so that we won't need to worry about signing a PG like Kyrie or we have to trade one of them early enough to add assets to the chest.

There are so many variables and question marks. This season will be very interesting.
