Working with the same strength trainer as LeBron and Dwyane Wade couldn't have hurt Wall. Maybe there will be a huge payoff if he can stay healthy.

John is starting to be built like Arenas was. Chest is definitely getting bigger and thicker. I'm guessing he's picked up about 7 to 12 pounds of muscle mass. I'm thinking if his knees hold up it's not a bad thing.

I've always wanted to see a more physical John Wall start bouncing guys around. Now he is both big enough and strong enough to do so. If he can play more physical defense and finish better through contact that will only help the Wizards.

The key is he just has to stay healthy. Generally speaking more load is hard on the knees. Scott Brooks needs to reduce the minutes that John plays to make sure he is fresh at the end of games. About five less minutes per game will help his knees as well.

We hear him slimming down for some summers - we hear him bulking up, etc etc. At this point, I don't even care for John Wall summer status reports; I just him to have a healthy season.

He was slim down in March-April after injury

Now he looks like he put on muscle on upper body

I hope he doesn’t gain too much weight. I personally think he’s better playing at a lighter weight. He needs his speed. I thought he looked athletic when he came back from injury. That might be the best weight for him.
