Do you honestly believe Omarosa though? The woman is a cockroach that's trying to sell books.
I think there are lies in both Omarosa's claims and the push back. I think they "Art of the Deal" swearing in is likely a lie on Omarosa's side. Given that saying the N-word would match his actions, I am going to speculate the defense of Trump on that matter will be lies(or people not in the know).

UcanUwill wrote:European socialist does work, but it creates one serious problem that I am not sure being discussed all the time. I lived in European country for years, around lower class jobless people, and a lot of them don't want to work. they dont have serious aspirations, they get enough for free, and their main effort is to dodge work, its their lifestyle. Now, to get all social benefits, if you not working, you have to be registered to Labour Exchange (not sure how its called in English), and if you purposely dodging job offers, you can be kicked out and left with 0, but its way too easy to cheat the system, and people who work in Labour Exchange knows whats happening, they deal with these type of people every day.
so what do you pick, country with homeless people, or country with people with no motivation to work?
Is the lack of motivation temporary or permanent? If it is an early 20s bumming around thing, then I think we can live with it. We seem headed that direction anyway.
While a lot of claims of "American exceptionalism" are questionable, I think there is objective support for work ethic being stronger on average. It may help some with that issue. If we eliminate homelessness and provide a safety net for the bottom 30/40%, I think the country as a whole will be better off, even if that restricts opportunities for the top 20 to 30%. I think most American solutions would end up pretty neutral to the "core" middle class.

And which country in the EU? And when you say socialist, you are saying democratic with socialist institutions.
I would say in some ways the (many of the countries) in the EU have passed us in that regard. But if we are freshly implementing new "social" programs" we have the possibility of passing them again.
Example: don't just do "free education for all", come up with something better. There is a tremendous amount of waste in the EU education system - that doesn't mean we need to build in the same. Germany's education system is vastly different that France's (for example). Revamp the education system from the ground up. Don't make it time based but knowledge based. Instead of high school diplomas finish with AA degrees. The biggest pushback here will come from public unions.
Example: The EU's outcomes on patient care isn't as good as the US and the only difference in risk factors in the US is obesity. We could put in a single payer system that is outcome based and not use based with a focus on preventative care. The biggest pushback here will come from the most powerful union, the AMA.
We don't have to change our work ethics to improve our outdated social programs.

GOC, in your own words, can you explain what this means? Just trying to help you out here, because true freedom involves thinking for yourself rather than parroting someone else's talking points. Give it a try.
Figured I would help GOC here: This is clearly an intelligent person looking at a phrase Democratic Socialism and saying that is a broad brush phrase that could mean anything. I could mean a really well run democratic country with a very sound base of capitalism and very efficient social programs.
And he realizes that in any society you aren't free. You don't actually own your house - you have to pay taxes. You can't just do whatever you want - say, run your truck through your neighbors house. Damn, our current system is soooo restrictive.
He turns, sighs and says - "Why don't they have something with depth, this is soooo shallow".

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

How bout we lower taxes on the rich, build an enormously expensive wall between us and Mexico, and create a situation where we have to bail out farmers! Brilliant by any standard - just ask your dentist when he's got his hands in your mouth and won't stop talking. We could print more dollars, but timber's recently double in price.

It does seem fishy that there was a discipline recommendation - 60-day suspension and demotion - that was overruled and he was terminated.
