Where the hell did you come from?

Hey JJ hits the ball but struggles defensely so almost all here hate him, but we also have anger left over from last year. Take it out on Juan Pierre. 3 homers 40 rbi spells letdown.

Says who? A corner outfielder with a .666 OPS (more evidence he's evil obviously). If he didn't have such a big contract, he'd be down in Iowa.

I actually don't mind us being in a losing streak because after watching 06' i can endure a 10 game losing streak..

has ted lilly ever thrown a no- hitter? That would be awesome and be a minor turning point for a 4 game losing streak. Even a shutout or giving up 1 or 2 runs would be fine.

Ted Lilly came within five outs of baseball history, but all he wound up with was a loss.
Lilly's bid for a no-hitter was spoiled by Desi Relaford's RBI single in the bottom of the eighth and Freddy Garcia pitched eight strong innings to lead the Seattle Mariners to a 1-0 victory over the New York Yankees.

Lilly was unhittable through seven innings and allowed just two baserunners, plunking Jeff Cirillo in the first and seventh innings. But he was inconsistent with his location and it caught up with him in the eighth, when he walked Dan Wilson with one out and allowed pinch runner Luis Ugueto to advance on a wild pitch.

Relaford followed by lining an 2-2 pitch into right field to plate Ugueto with the game's only run.

Lilly (0-2) fanned Charles Gipson for his eighth strikeout, ending the inning. It was his first career complete game.

Although he did not flirt with a no-hitter, Garcia (3-2) shut down the Yankees, giving up just five hits while striking out eight.

Kazuhiro Sasaki allowed a one-hit single to Derek Jeter and walked Robin Ventura with two out in the ninth. But he struck out Rondell White to earn his seventh save in eight chances. Similar to big z's near no hitter. Damn Russell Branyan! WIsh he was still on the D-rays.

LOL, Rockies announcers said the Cubs hit a lot of HR's. They obviously don't do much research.

Haha...no (to Mattbulls)

Lilly's control seems off, he's usually throwing the least balls.
