Suns wins exercise

Predict suns 2018/19 regular season wins ! Who gets to 41 first, gets a virtual delusion cookie !

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1L2hseB_eYuHbv6yTZ32XCbUWDvwiG0TT6EpzJJ35XoM/edit?usp=sharing

just enter win % vs other team . It figures in our schedule, but does not figure in b2b games, but those tend to even themselves out anyway.

I tried and tried and tried .... personal best i got was 33,2 ... no skill what so ever !

There are 3 sheets of the same right stuff so every one can fly .

So basically the number we enter next to each team is how many times out of 100 we think we would beat the other team on a neutral court? I got 27.3. I think we will do a little better. So many unknowns so it's tough.

Yeah, its just a win percentage. Thats why i put 100 games. If i ask our win percentage vs warriors next year people would probably say 0/4 games, but i like to think that its more like 0,4/4 games or 10 games out of 100(10 percent).

Yes, most all the teams for me fell between 25 and 50. I think I put 10 for GS, 20 for Utah and 60 for Sacramento and Atlanta. I think I put Houston, Toronto, Boston and Philly all at 25, and most of the other teams were between 30 and 40 except for the other rebuilding teams...which I put at 50...I may have put Dallas at 45 and Orlando at 55.

I got 28.82. 3 out of the 4 have us at 29 wins with the other at 35. I would have thought more around the 35 number but apparently I am overrating what I really think

Even though I like to be optimistic, as a margin caller once told me on the phone (after I asked "What if the stock goes up today?"), you should be cautiously optimistic.

39 wins, it wouldn’t shock me if you guys take a 2010-OKC ish leap and wind up with the 8th seed.

It's very possible for this team to be significantly improved and still not win a LOT more games just because of the changes in the west. But that won't matter to fans, they will look at the W-L number and call for heads.

Funny, I think they'll see early wins over Memphis, San Antonio, Oklahoma City and Denver and get excited real quick. I expect Koko to be in the running for COY, for Ayton to be in the running for ROY and for Booker to make an All-NBA squad.

So yeah, I guess you could say I'm primed for disappointment.

God bless you.

For real, though - I actually thought SL was a pretty solid indicator of the changes we can expect to see this season. Better ball movement, more open looks, more room under the basket, better defense inside and out. In other words, Koko is the element I think most are missing. We have the talent to be good; we just haven't been, and we've thrown the last third of the last two seasons to tank. We weren't as bad on paper as our record has indicated these last few seasons; we've just had huge holes on our roster for various reasons. Ayton is a huge upgrade at C, and our rotation at every spot looks to be better this season than last.

.... And a lot of teams in the west aren't as good as people think. A lot of thin rosters out here.

I'll be putting $$$ on the Suns going over if my wife will let me!
