Lol, Marlins throw at Acuna and hit him with a 97.5 mph fastball on the first pitch of the game, and he has to leave the game. He’s a bit of a clown, but that’s just being a low class, sore loser — Texas Rangers style.

The Rangers would have waited until the game was over and he was walking back to the team bus.

That was bs. The Braves play the Marlins again August 24-26 hopefully Urena isn't suspended that long and he's scheduled to pitch that series, or more particularily get in the batters box for a pitch aimed somewhere below his belt.

6 game suspension for Urena, returns against the Braves if he does not appeal. :x

And they hit him again tonight...

Verlander gets big bill at LA restaurant:

Ultimate "I'm a dude"/"I'm married to Kate Upton" move would have been to just pay the bill and walk out the door.. 8-)

Jose is only batting .199, getting on base though, 7th in the league in walk rate. 100 wrc+.

Traded for a PTBNL/cash, so probably just about given away.

Should Jose be a bench bat , or would they move Cabrera to SS and jose to 3b? Kingery isn't having a good season.

Bench bat and RF/LF/3B spot starter, I'd imagine. Franco is still their everyday 3B, and he's a better option despite his flaws.

Lol at the end of the Phillies/Nationals game. I guess that’s what happens when you use a pitcher as a pinch runner.

Forgot about Franco. You win though, Bautista is in RF tonight against Gio Gonzalez.

A couple of days ago, the Atlanta organist was trolling Daniel Murphy, now with the Cubs, for his homophobic comments. I can't imagine the Jays doing this, but maybe a little more levity would add some space to the game.

I don't know that trolling a guy who has sincere beliefs against homosexuality by playing a song about a transsexual as he comes to the plate is something that will make things better. It seems that instead of actual change, people just want others to change the words that they say out loud for fear of public embarrassment. I'm not really sold on the effectiveness of that with regards to changing peoples' minds, though.
