We just have a differen't opinion on the story they're telling. That's not at all what I see.

I genuinely want to know what is different here that wasn't in the last match between these two or the triple threat because to me it felt like the same tune.

Same general theme in all three, definitely. I don't consider that bad.

Also Velveteen Dream for North American Title, who says no?

I mean solid (not spectacular) match and Dream has to be the best character in NXT right now (he may as well stick around NXT for the next two years until Vince is gone though).

Ratings:

Undisputed Era vs. Moustache Mountain - ****1/4

EC3 vs. Velveteen Dream - **1/2

Ricochet vs. Adam Cole - ****

Shayna Baszler vs. Kairi Sane - ****1/4

Johnny Gargano vs. Tomasso Ciampa - ****1/2

Women's match was much better than I expected, and probably the show-stealer as a result. EC3/Dream was easily the worst match of the night. Nice closing stretch but it was slow and sloppy at times. The tag match was about as good as you'd expect from the two teams. Ricochet and Cole had an absolutely amazing closing stretch. Gargano and Ciampa was their worst match thus far, but still great. Didn't love the ending, but overall it was a very entertaining match.

NXT always delivers even the little things are better from the commentary team, Kayla Braxton > Jojo and
I like the ring area design better.

Kairi Sane's selling was fantastic even better then Ciampas after a grueling last man standing match.
Liked the storytelling as well even the Aleistar Black injury angle with all the possible suspects is
nicely done and something you don't see creatively on the main roster.

Man if Ricochet main evented Wrestlemania next year I wouldn't complain and I'm not one of those fans
that just love work rate and high spots only.

Interesting to see Matt Riddle I wonder if he will continue to wrestle barefoot in NXT. I've watched
some of his recent work with Smash Wrestling where the guys work with women wrestlers.

I'm not surprised Ciampa retained I thought it was to early to take the belt off him but this feud has
got to end with Gargano eventually winning but how much longer can it go on?

Ricochet is, in my opinion, the absolute best athlete in wrestling right now. Everything he does is just absurdly fluid.

Triple H is pretending that the Gargano injury is real and wasn't planned.

Also, he did the worst Dusty Rhodes impression I've ever heard.

Yeah maybe the best I've seen since Elix Skipper or prime RVD

I'm still not convinced that EC3 is a good wrestler. I'm worried about his ceiling on the main roster.

In TNA I remember him having some great matches with Matt Hardy.

As for his ceiling, I think if they ever were to do another corporate /authority champion, EC3 is the perfect candidate for that job.

It's funny you mention that because I was thinking the other day I would call up EC3 and put him in stable with
Bobby Roode that would be a knock off Evolution wearing suits driving fancy cars dating hot women both jacked
up and both have similar wrestling styles that current fans might not like because their movesets are more of
a throwback to the 90's- early 2000's and their not high flying guys that do high spots.

So I was thinking who I would add to this stable with them and I was like well with Evolution they wanted that
young guy with Orton and originally Jindrak so I was thinking about Riddick Moss and Sabotelli (spelling?) from
NXT when they comeback from injury.

I think the thing with EC3 is that he's just an okay worker. Putting him out there with Dream, who is still very raw, was probably a mistake, as EC3 just isn't good enough to carry someone else. Dream's other three Takeover matches were all with incredibly talented veterans capable of carrying a good match. EC3 has the same amount of experience as those three guys, but he's just nowhere near as talented as a worker, and I think that really made how raw Dream still is stand out in a way that the other three guys he's faced in singles matches were more able to mask.

I think I read the injury was real and altered the end of the match.

That's what Triple H said, but I still think it's a work. Probably using it as an excuse to write Gargano off of TV for a while so that, when he comes back, it'll be a big deal and a huge pop.

I love this idea. Though I do think atleast for a while, they should keep it to just the 2 of them. Maybe add later

Funny, prior to Summerslam I was thinking EC3 and someone like Roode should interfere in the Main Event, and join forces with a newly crowned heel Roman Reigns, they can call themselves Envy or something. Three pompus guys who think they are better than everyone else because of looks, money, build, etc.

And we get Reigns out of the tired SHield gear, and into a suit and actual wrestling attire
