Short of the 2016 results being annulled, in which case I'd support her serving now, I cannot see any good reason for her to run again. Besides, she'll probably get clobbered in the primaries this time by candidates like Warren. For her sake, I hope she doesn't even consider running again.

BREAKING NEWS:

MICHAEL COHEN HAS CUT A PLEA DEAL

I haven't read much yet, but he agreed to plead guilty on the illegal payments that violated campaign finance laws.

That means he's already guilty of the charges directly related to Trump.

And we're only just getting started. His blood pressure is going to keep rising the rest of the way. It is why I've felt for some time Trump may just keel over from the stress and take nature's easy way out.

My guess is that the judge will tell them to keep working on the other 10 counts. When they asked earlier today what they should do if they can't reach a consensus for a particular count, he said they should keep going and to take as long as necessary to agree on a verdict.

You know there's probably a single a juror in there who thinks he's Henry Fonda from 12 Angry Men, but is actually just stretching the definition of "reasonable" doubt. The jury already had to ask the judge to clarify the term for them.

At his age, it is more than enough to get a sentence that effectively condemns Manafort to the rest of his lifetime in jail.

Now we'll finally find out if Manafort was hoping to beat these charges before being forced to flip or if he has already decided to die in prison due to fear of Putin's ability to poison him or his family members.

If it is the former, then we can expect a plea deal soon that will cancel Manafort's trial for conspiracy against the U.S. next month.

So that means they couldn't reach a verdict on the 5 counts of bank fraud conspiracy, 2 out of 4 counts of bank fraud, and 3 of the 4 counts of failing to file a foreign bank account.

Still, 2 counts of bank fraud is no joke (could mean up to 30 years), and 5 counts of subscribing to false income tax returns could mean 3 years per count.
