Just came here to say you guys are my favorite GLeague team.
I love it.
Hopefully they'll get Wale to do an opening night show & can attract a good audience. Love everything about the team.

Yeah, I'd like to know if they drafted any CCJ All-Stars since I've been impressed with his scouting acumen over the years.

The guy is 31 years old and 2 full years removed from playing any regular minutes in the NBA. I guess maybe he's the Crash Davis of the G-League roster.

Veteran presence. We’ve had our eye on him for a long time.

Without even seeing the roster I know I liked Luke Harangody when he was at Notre Damepenbeast0 wrote:Yeah, I'd like to know if they drafted any CCJ All-Stars since I've been impressed with his scouting acumen over the years.
When you look at under-sized centers he almost fits the bill.

Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

Since he's 30 and lost his starting job for Darüşşafaka in the Russian league over the last 2 years, if that's your best hope, I doubt we get anything out of the current Go-Go roster.

Here's the guys we took in the expansion draft: https://www.nbcsports.com/washington/wizards/your-first-look-capital-city-go-go-roster-after-expansion-draft
This is not "the roster," as it doesn't include either Devin Robinson or Jordan McRae, our 2-way players, whose home base will be the Go Go.
Given that each team was able to protect 12 players, there are some surprising names on this list:
Lavoy Allen -- he has played almost 7000 minutes in the NBA & has been a reasonably competent journeyman -- with the one problem that he can't really score the ball. I think he's taken a total of 15 3-point shots in all those 7K minutes. If he could shoot at all, he'd be in the league. Yet his G League team didn't think he was one of their top 12 players.
Alonzo Gee -- see above under "Lavoy Allen." (Though not as lame a scorer as Allen).
Tyler Harvey -- this is a different kind of surprise. Why would you pick a guy whose NBA rights are owned by another team?
Stephen Zimmerman -- Came out after his Freshman season & was picked #41 in the 2016 draft. Some people here liked him. Not even 22 yet, & already a bust. Sad....

That’s what I’m talking about.
I forgot about them. My high school (Kennedy ‘84) was all about EU and Rare Essence.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

I went to HS In St Mays County (84-88). All who would show up was Trouble Funk, JYB, Little Benny and Chuck Brown. Like 84-86'
Had to go to PG or DC or had to fight people at Calvert annex to see Essence or Ayre Rayde and I could not drive at the time.
