You guys make a good point on Joeger and Joeger/Fox - and I think this carries through to 19-20. Shumpert, Randolf, Koufos, McLemore will be gone.
Assume no new draft pick, I think the Kings are still in a reasonable position if they (FO and Joeger) understand what they need to develop.
PGs
If Fox develops over the next two years and either Ferrell or Mason progress, they are in a very solid position.
Rim protectors
They have to make a decision on WCS - It might be easy if Giles develops by the end of the year and Davis becomes serviceable. I think where the game is going you don't want to be as deep as we are in the FC today.
Wings
That could be a very nice trio - Bogdonaovic, Hield and Jackson. Fingers crossed that they break out over the next two years.
S4s
Bjelica will continue to be solid. If Bagley and/or Labissiere improve we would be in terrific shape.
If I am the FO, I sit down with Joeger and tell him he has two years and will be judged on the progress of the young players - nothing else. I would have specific metrics for each of the youngsters.
And then, I see if I can take on some bad contracts to add assets but making sure I can resign my core (who ever that ends up being).

Meanwhile WCS at another Downtown venue in Los Angeles drinking and painting!
Love to see the rotation as Giles/Skal/Bagley/Bjelica and move on from the rest of the dead weight.

Clearly one of the teams top 3 bigs going forward
All talented
And I thought I saw some other Kings fans trying to move him for a 2nd on the T/T board
He was a consensus big in high school for a reason, and a kid with a good work ethic who will give everything he has. Only turned 22 several months back
Another reason to be concerned about Vlade if the rumors of moving him last year were true

I mean...did be gain weight? Sure. Did he suddenly learn basketball skills like how to not he so mechanical/robotic when playing the game? Doubt it.
The kings seem to be the offseason PR world champions. Skal is huge, Bogi’s huge, Fox is bigger, Buddy’s hitting every shot in pickup games, Willie is getting praised by Durant etc. Maybe the franchise is turning a corner this offseason but I just wanna see it on the court when the real season starts.

Re: Rotation if the season started today
Eh, Skal is extremely talented and honestly probably still has the highest upside on the Kings. I'm not sure he'll reach it but he's got an ability that has gone untapped and unfortunately might continue to go wasted in Sacramento. Last year, those two or so games he was on his way to a total breakout and then Joerger stuffed him right back on the bench. I just don't understand it. If it happens again this year it's insanity pure and simple. The more I look at the roster I see the realities of a similar rotation of mid 20's mpg and the prediction of the Kings having nothing but players being allowed to be below average coming to fruition. Unfortunately if that's the case then Vivek will probably bite that bullet and clean house from top to bottom even though I think Vlade isn't the issue. Wake up Vlade, don't buy the development tag line too much, San Antonio is a decent model in some ways but you don't want to develop talent just to find them being utilized elsewhere. Time is running out.

If I had to guess to start the season
WCS(28)/Koufos(14)/Giles(14)
Bjelica(18)/Bagley(20)/Randolph(10)/Skal
Jackson(22)/Bjelica(8)/Shump(18)
(Bogdan)/Hield(28)/Yogi(10)/Mclemore(10)
Fox(30)/Yogi(8)/Mason(10)
Prepared to be extremely disappointed that Joerger is going to run a crazy ass 13 man rotation. Hopefully when Bogdan gets back that cuts Shump/mclemore out of the rotation completely and probably Mason other than spot minutes. And maybe by December Koufos/Randolph with more mins going to Bagley, Giles, Skal.

This is what I would like to see
WCS (24)/ Giles(24)
Bagley(24)/Skal(18)/Bjelica(6)
Bogdan(20)/Jackson(16)/Bjelica(12)
Buddy(34)/Bogdan(14)
Fox(34)/Yogi(14)
WCS - 24 minutes
Giles - 24
Bagley 24
Skal 18
Bjelica - 18
Bogdan - 34
Jackson 16
Buddy - 34
Fox - 34
Yogi - 14
10 man rotation which is still a little on the heavy side, but Id anticipate one of Skal or WCS to be moved in a deadline deal for a pick which should free up more minutes for the front court.

Re: Rotation if the season started today
A preseason of up and downs shouldn't change a thing. Fox, Buddy, and Bogdan are by far your best 1-3 and they need to play together and start building chemistry because without it the team will never go anywhere since this is all they have there for the next 2 years most likely.

Re: Rotation if the season started today
For now it seems like this is the rotation and they are going smaller... that will become even more the case when Bogdanovic returns.
Fox 32; Ferrell 20; Mason 16
Held 29; Shumpert 22
Jackson 28;
Bagley 24; Bjelica 24
WCS 29; Giles 13

Jackson 28;
Bagley 24; Bjelica 24
WCS 29; Giles 13

Other notes:
Fox still needs another year - he is jacking up some poor shots. I think as the game slows down and he gets more cerebral about the game that will go away. That and his 3 point shot will inevitably get better (right?)
Giles is at least another year away. WCS seems to be playing better offensively but not so much on the defensive end. And Bjelica can play C defensively as well as WCS in many situations. Bagley is the real deal - nice pick.
