3. Tom Brady
4. Jared Wentz
5. Deshaun Watson
7. Jimmy Graoppolo
8. Andrew Luck
9. Drew Brees

Jared Wentz is too low on your list. Heck of a player.

He just turned 41. It’s not the end of the world to suggest that someone will eventually be better any coming season.

I'm confused. Is this an end of the season prediction? Or current list?

Okay, well I still find it hard to believe that Goff will take that big of a jump this season.

The Rams should be considered much more of a threat than the Eagles. Goff v Wentz will definitely be something to keep an eye on. However, I like the Rams overall team to allow Goff to be much more successful

1. Aaron Rodgers-league MVP
2. DeShaun Waton-offensive player on the year (slight fanboy pick)
3. Tom Brady-puts up stats year in and year out, age is nothing but a number
4. Russell Wilson-offensive line and defense sucks but he'll salvage his season by putting up gaudy numbers while playing catchup
5. Cam Newton-offensive line is questionable, but he's got the talent around him/versatility to put together a top 5 season
6. Drew Brees-had slight td regression last season but I don't see the running game being as prolific this season
7. Carson Wentz-he'll probably start the season slow but catch fire once their skill guys get healthy
8. Kirk Cousins-he's a much better version of Case Keenum
9. Matt Ryan-originally had him ranked outside of my top 10 a few weeks ago but he's slowly climbed up my ranks
10. Ben Roethlisberger-hate his home/road splits but offense is way too loaded for him not to fill it up

Honorable mention-Matthew Stafford, Phillip Rivers, and Jared Goff

Honestly, the Jimmy G hype is starting to get out of hand. He was the third qb taken off the board is my last fantasy draft...that's ridiculous. The offensive talent on that roster is average at best and that'll reflect in Jimmy G's output.

He's a dual threat with an extremely underrated deep ball. Granted he's probably not going to produce at the same rate as he did last year, but a full season with Hopkins and a bulked up Fuller is scary. Plus the Texans also have the easiest strength of schedule.

I love Watson. I think he is going to have a great year/career. Putting him #2 right now is a little cart before the horse for me.

More than 1 good season should be required before any QB makes the top 10 list.

Guys who have played well for countless years should not be passed upon by possible 1 year wonders.

Rodgers
Brady
Russ
Brees
Ryan
Big Ben
Rivers
Cam
Wentz
Luck

I think Stafford has the arm talent where he could replace a bunch of those guys and still be just as good. Left off Goff because I think a lot of his performance last season was scheme. And Watson imo has to show more. Mariota could sneak into the conversation here too.

If the metric is simple standard Fantasy Points Per Game, I'll go with the unimaginative choices:

1. Deshaun Watson
2. Russell Wilson
3. Carson Wentz
4. Andrew Luck
5. Cam Newton

6. Aaron Rodgers
7. Alex Smith
8. Tom Brady
9. Jarod Goff
10. Philip Rivers

My 10, based on expected 2018 performance

1. Aaron Rodgers
2. Drew Brees
3. Tom Brady
4. Russell Wilson
5. Deshaun Watson
6. Cam Newton
7. Kirk Cousins
8. Matt Ryan
9. Philip Rivers
10. Matthew Stafford

I don't think Wentz will play enough. I don't think Big Ben has been nearly as good the last two years and the decline (relative) continues. Dak Prescott is definitely in the mix. Alex Smith. Mariota can play his way up. Maybe Luck can but his team is terrible.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game
