BS. So what, cops have nothing better to do? How Nick Young was delaying "investigation"? That he didn't lay down and handcuffed himself, to save time for the cops between the donuts consuming break?

The cop probably lied and was harassing him, just like what happened with Robbie Anderson and what has happened throughout history. Nick Young is white and there is no "investigation" to even delay here.

Turns up NWA.

I’m pretty sure the video that was released said it was self inflicted. Just saying

Seems like the cops got him for a violation - or in other words they were doing their job.

Sad to see how many people are defending this guy - however minor the infraction he wasn't obeying the law. That's how all these "incidents" start off but I guess you can see what you want to see and mask out what you don't want to see.

This!

Bizarre, that this is acutally an idea to have about such a petty incident

there is no law petty enough that police wouldn't kill you over in order to enforce it

Yep! Philandro Castillo was following the law perfectly in a state that is "open carry" and stupid azz cop STILL shot and killed him for no reason. #MurderByCop

I think some people are defending against the rush to judgement based on the flawed assumption that cops are always right.
Many people believe it is wrong, and dangerous, to make such assumptions because it inevitably emboldens corrupt behavior.

You have to remember that peoples viewpoints are largely shaped by their experiences and observations.
If you've never encountered an officer abusing his authority it may be hard for you to fathom.
But if you have, it is impossible to forget or overlook.

Police are given tremendous power and authority in our communities and if any of them are willing to abuse it, however minor the infraction, it puts us all in danger.

He's lucky he lived another day because the police have a rep for killing the same people their supposed to be "protecting and serving"...Currently interactions with the police have been life and death situations something as simple as a traffic stop can be the end of you. :x
If you have no critics you'll likely have no success.

Yeah, actual crime data doesn't back that up, but continue to believe the fear mongering narrative the main stream media pushes on you like a good little sheep.

I don't disagree with you about the police. They are humans and make mistakes, and sometimes they are outright nefarious, but we also need them as a society... at least until we can switch to the honor system. :D

But your fear of the press has also been "pushed on you like a good little sheep." The press have a job to do and that job is to look for and report news. When a cop wrongfully kills someone, that's news and it is the job of the press to report it. Without the press the would not be public outcry for things like body cameras that protect both the citizens and the police. The free press is a vital part of our society. They are humans and make mistakes, and sometimes they are outright nefarious, but we also need them as a society... at least until we can switch to the honor system. :D

So does that mean the police in LA don't support the California Warriors?
