Booker | Bridges | Reed | Daniels
Warren | Jackson
Ariza | Anderson | Bender
Ayton | Chandler | Holmes

How much of a headache must Chriss have been to get dumped with Knight for Ryan Anderson's terrible contract and a second round pick prospect

The only way to get rid of Knight is to include a young prospect with potential. Chriss just didn’t improve here. Plus, there will be another trade coming for a PG. I know we’re high on Okobo but probably not THAT high.

WOW, I like it. Now we REALLY have gravity away from Booker at PF and we have another PG prospect. That's huge. I hated everyone trying to convince themselves of Knight. I wanted Chriss to make it though....and playing with Harden and Paul he has a nice chance of getting some easy dunks if he can actually put them through.

Unless they really love Melton as the PG even though he is 20. What the does the rotation become? Ariza starting with Ryno as the backup?

Still a logjam at the SF with Warren, JJ, and Bridges, and no proven PG with experience.

As bad as Chriss was, I'd still prefer him over Rhyno on defense.

And wasn't Ariza our 4?

I was trying to convince myself of Knight but glad that’s gone

Anderson is a very good three point shooter

What’s the next move? We need a PG

You really feel like Knight and Chriss give us a better chance to win than a guy like Anderson? He got overpaid but the guy can knock down 3s and is a decent player. The contract sucks but he only makes like 1.6 million more than Chriss and Knight would have next year.

And if we can sign a FA we could always stretch him. Melton is also a solid prospect. I didn't like him that much...I like Okobo more but a lot of people do.

We are worse now at playmaking than we were before, and I hated Knight. It does not become addition by subtraction because we don't have a good enough replacement yet, just projects all over the place.

Wish we could say that coaches are super impressed with Okobo or Harrison, but training camp hasn't even started yet.

Guess PG Booker is about to become a reality.

I think this means there is a greater chance that we run a lot with no true PG which I think is fine. But Shaq was our best player when it comes to RPM last year so he adds when he is out there, at least defensively....gets steals, etc.

I think we maybe start Shaq, and then bring JJ in fairly quickly and move Booker to primary ball handler and have JJ guard PGs if need be. Bridges can guard PGs too.

Highlights from one of Melton’s summer league games. Good looking shot.

Could work with the system Kokoskov likes to run, maybe they don't want to rely on a PG to setup or initiate the offense and are fine with what Book brings to the table in that role. If Kokoskov can get the team to pass with the amount of spacing the added shooting will provide, it could very well work.

I know it was on a garbage center, but Anderson can also do more than shoot 3’s at a high percentage.
