How many negatives are in that statement? I had to read it twice just to see if we have a chance or not. :D

hey, it could have been worse. I could have said Boston cannot afford not to bring him back. :D

Still not interested in Terry Rozier.

Mark Stein tweeted going to Houston will revitalize Chriss.

My question: when was he ever vital?

The narrative around the league when you suck. The Warriors probably had this seven eight years ago. Clippers. Need to win

I am afraid about McD making a move in the last minute of the preseason. He usually waits too long to make a trade or take a decision and sometimes that is really important for the chemistry/roles/coaching.

I hope he gets a PG before the start of training camp. It would be better for everyone involved.

Why not? He's not going to command huge dollars and Boston can match anything. They'll stay in the luxury if necessary, and if Kyrie leaves they'll def need him. Plus they're attempting ton win a title this year, so he has value to them even if they don't match in the summer.

because they can do something else with the money they would pay him.

if Kyrie leaves, which of the following would you prefer?
1) to be locked into Rozier
2) to have cap space to go after Giannis or AD in 2021

Just start Shaq. He could be like a PG version of Tucker. Not the most talented guy but brings energy and tough defense. We really need a good defender next to Booker.

Maybe PG becomes situational. Shaq for defense against certain players to help Booker. Okobo maybe for offense. A platoon situation as it were. Add Melton for his skill set. The bar is damn low from last year - one would think a combo of Shaq, Okobo and Melton will not be worse.

Not a fan of Waiters. But the Suns would have to take a long term contract

Or Shaq as much as possible (or maybe a little Melton) with Booker, but when Bridges or Jackson are playing 2, or even Reed, they can play Okobo.

Hate the trade take on more salary for next year FAs.
Doesn't make any sense to me it's like a dump for Houston while having more upset for them.

Dumb McD

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

Not if we waive Anderson next year. He is only guaranteed what Knight was. And we would have had to decline Chriss' option this October to open up that space.

By removing Chriss (even with adding Melton) we opened up $3 million more next summer if needed, and if we do waive Anderson, we could also stretch him which would get us up somewhere close to $30 million I believe.

Wouldn't mind, but the Hawks only really have him other than Trae Young. And it would probably take more than a 2nd to get him...they'd probably want Melton or something.

The defense of booker,Anderson and ayton could turn into cringe worthy. I really hate the trade. I feel knight and Chriss are going to contribute for Houston.
