The real college football season begins next Saturday when the Washington Huskies take on Auburn in Atlanta in the game of the century. But yeah, college football is back.

I know not many people care about the games going on today, but I'm absolutely shocked by the result of Colorado State - Hawai'i. I know CSU lost a lot from last year, but I expected them to be at least decent.

Man, it's good to have college football back on TV.

Really looking forward to that one! Should be a dandy. Two coaches that I've always really liked to watch as well.

As a Husky fan, I'm both excited and nervous about having such a big game right out of the gate.

Browning is frustrating to watch. It's too bad Jacob Eason has to sit out.

Huskies blew it. It slowly became clear over the course of the game that they were the better team by a bit. They left too many points on the field in the red zone. As a Husky fan, I was more than a little perturbed by the play calling in a few key situations. Why did they run Jake Browning on an option at the 3 yard line? That's not his thing. Either run the ball, or throw the ball. Then, on first and fifteen in the waning moments of the game, they run the ball twice on first and second down. I didn't understand that.

Anyway...what an effing drag. We have to run the table to have a chance for the CFP. No other choice. No two loss team has a chance to make it from the PAC 12. I think everybody can agree on that.

Ugh. I was excited for the Dawgs this year. The Seahawks not so much.
