This is one of the craziest trades I‘ve ever seen!

Never thought Oakland would trade him, even for two 1sts.

Bears are ready, NFC North will be a bloodbath

http://www.espn.com/blog/oakland-raiders/post/_/id/21916/what-is-the-method-to-jon-grudens-madness-in-trading-khalil-mack

I'll post more thoughts later, once we know *EXACTLY* what we are *suppose* to be getting back.

Working through my 7 stages/steps or whatever, to emotional and not rational enough right now.

Ditto that. I am fuming.

Under no circumstances to you trade a first ballot Hall of Fame player. We got fleeced again. Not a good look Gruden.

So Jon Gruden is the Larry Brown of the NFL? Just going to trade everyone and then be done in 3 years

This is one of those moments where you wonder if the league should step in and stop a franchise from hurting itself. I wish I could understand what Gruden is trying to do.

I would be too, if I was a Raiders fan. I thought the Bears paid a pretty steep price for a non-QB, but if they were thinking a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush and that bird in the hand is Khalil Mack, then I get it. He was easily their best player. They've overpaid for a coach whose time has come and gone. They're a lame duck in their home city. This is a shame because the looked like they were right on the doorstep a couple years ago. The city of Oakland doesn't deserve this stupidity and I can't see the Raiders winning more than maybe 5 games now.

I suppose I was thinking we were not going to return to being the laughingstock of the NFL again any time soon. I was wrong.

It was fun to think that the Raiders might be good again. They make the NFL a better league when they are. All they really had to do was to not do anything stupid coming off of that 12-4 season, but that seems like all they've done.

Not that I would have done that trade if I'm Oakland, because Mack is a very good player, but wasn't their defense pretty crappy even with him? I guess they're thinking he isn't worth the money...so is the plan to stock up on high draft picks and rebuild that defense? Of course they'll probably manage to screw that up anyways.

Giving away a third for a WR they just turn around and cut is pretty funny.

In the meantime they lose their best player not named Baby Carr and have an overrated and outdated coach at the helm...that sucks.

:-?
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

EDIT: Was my sisters 50th bday today. Were 10 years apart I'm 40, also I woke up with nasal congestion/a cold.
