I suppose LeBron never had problems early in his career, but he eventually slimmed down quite a bit. I think there's a pretty decent discrepancy between their heights though and I don't know if LeBron was ever 280.

I am guessing that at 1:16 Bilas is about to say: "Did you notice the guard get out of the way of Williamson driving down the lane? I would too."

I don't understand how Zion's body works. That dude is a freak. That rebound early in the video...jesus.

I agree he should eventually be losing weight. 285 is massive, and seems unnecessary for his game. He's big bodied and that's fine, but 240-260 range seems more legit. Agreed about LeBron range being a good goal.

The way this guy goes for the rebound, that's what I expected to see from Jabari
Williamson is at the extreme end of the spectrum but they are both in the same category of heavy built medium-size, bouncy forwards. These guys are usually fantastic rebounders, except for Jabari of course who doesn't get paid for stuff like that allegedly.

LBJ wasn't even close to Zion size when he entered the league. In fact, Lebron seems to only have gotten bigger since coming in, not the other way around.

There's going to be a lot of business decisions going up against Zion. No one wants to take a charge from that dude.

Guys, let's slow down a bit. It's cool to drool over a player styling all over Canada's leader for career-focused university education, but I think it's probably best to wait to see who has three or four good games in the NCAA tournament before we decide on the best target for the Bucks.

Agreed not when he entered the league. But he did get quite large. Around the time of his move back to Cleveland he dropped from (rumored to be) around 270 down to the 250 range he has played at since.

Yeah that's what I was referring to. Zion is huge, Kind of reminds me of Jabari lol.

I hope Zion can find a way down to a more manageable weight If we are doing our way too early picks I'd go Barrett/Reddish.

I'm excited for Duke to struggle at some point this season and Coach K trotting out the old, "We're very young" excuse.

Gonna win two games, gonna lose two games. Coach K borrowing from our own defrocked Coach K.

Moving this post here, instead...

Darius Bazley - who formerly decomitted from Syracuse so that he could play in the G-League - is now skipping G-League and will instead train for the NBA Draft all year.

Will be interesting to see if this works out for him. A year off of competition at the ripe old age of 18 is...an interesting decision.

There was no better option? Europe? Australia?

Guys have figured out that hiding can be the best thing for your draft stock. All he has to do is not appear to be the same guy he was when he crashed and burned in his last public competition and imagination will take it from there.

Yep. Players have learned that taking a year off or getting paid to ride the bench on some team overseas can actually boost your draft stock simply because of the unknown factor. It's why I would never, ever, under any circumstances tell a likely 1st-round freshman prospect to go back for their sophomore year of college ball. Just look what happened to guys like Ivan Rabb, Robert Williams, and Hamidou Diallo.

Ah of course. Really he should just go back to high school.

It's really hard to make a prediction about who Milw should pick at this point, but I'll give it a shot. Killian Tillie at Gonzaga is a nice PF prospect - if his body fills out more. He really improved his 3 point shooting last season and has a rep for playing good defense. I'd really like Jontay Porter but figure he'll be long gone. Some have the other Gonzaga forward (Hachimura) ahead of Tillie, but I'm not sure Hachimura has the jump shot he'll need in the NBA. If he does show dramatic improvement in his 3, he might be a better choice.

I don't know where the hell to ask this but can anybody here give me the digest on why Marquette is one of Nico Mannion's final 2 schools? I get Arizona, obviously.
