:o !!!!!!

maybe we've been underrating Musa?

and on a side note, that kid Hachimura from Gonzaga is high on this list. Ever since watching him play a few times I see some high upside there. He'll be another one to watch this season in the NCAA since he will be in our pick range.

The ranking is a list of how well they performed in their competitions. It's not really a projection of who they think will be the best player.

I still think that's actually something positive though. I mean most of us have Musa penciled in for G League duty while Barrett is an opening night starter this time next year. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Marks may have snatched up one of this year's steals.

Dzanan Musa, known as the Bosnian Scoring Machine, received an unexpected phone call after being drafted by the Nets with the second-to-last pick of the NBA draft’s first round in June.

It was from the Knicks’ Kristaps Porzingis.

“He encouraged me to just go for it,’’ Musa told The Post on Sunday at the NBA’s rookie orientation.

The call wasn’t that shocking. Musa and Porzingis are friends because of their brothers. Artura Musa and Janis Porzingis, Kristaps’ agent, are roughly the same age and played against each other in Europe.

Now all four will be sharing New York. Musa, who is 19, is also leaning on his teammates, including the Nets’ up-and-coming point guard D’Angelo Russell. The talented playmaker was drafted two spots ahead of Porzingis in 2015 and has taken his new 6-foot-9 Bosnian swingman under his wing. Musa spent two full days at Russell’s house to bond.

Musa moved to join the Croatian basketball program at 11, living almost on his own since then. His English is as good — if not better — than Porzingis’ was when he was drafted. That will help his transition.

A cocky sort, Musa once believed he’d be a lottery pick. That he fell to 29, he said, “gives me a chip on my shoulder.’’

that weight gain has to be gradual and healthy.

it will take a year or two.

let him go out there at 211 and get his ass whipped. it will be good for him. feeling Lebron's shoulder slam into his chest and being called for a blocking foul will be a wake up call.

yea i dont care if he weights 150 lbs right now. he probably wont play much, at least not on the NBA roster and if he doesnt its not like we need him to show much as a basically 2nd rounder on a rebuilding team. he has a huge window to grow both physically and as a player and as a man.

ill worry about his weight in 2022, not as a what, 19 year old?

look at jarrett allen, rail thin. got pushed around all year. still had a solid year with a ton of positives and progress

^^^i know this sounds selfish but I really wish he wouldn't play in those games, but I respect his love of country so I just hope he doesn't get hurt.

It's not like he's part of the rotation let him play that's where the passion is for these players playing for their country.
