Still puzzled as to why the op ed piece was written? Haven't figured that out... maybe if they catch the perp we will find out.
Of course this is the Trump Administration - so probably there is an accident on the way to the hoosegow... I guess you just can't make this stuff up.

Re: Political Roundtable Part XXII
obama DOJ locked up multiple leakers. And it came from the top! and most of those leakers did no harm.
The trump leakers have done noting more than become attention whores to launch their own books. <--the worst kind of leaker. These are people that are shutting down the effectiveness of our government so they can make money...and it doesn't matter if the losers dont vote for trump so the losers are happy with the leaks because Trump would win in a landslide today. and very likely the popular vote. he is a duly elected president of the united states and the leakers are slowing down his ability to govern for nothing more than personal gain...none of them are out there actually doing anything of any kind of substance to work for democrats.
And the deeper rooted problem with all of this is that the establishment clearly does NOT want outsiders involved in federal government because then it would be too confusing for the billionaire elites to bribe the outsiders. The billionaires elites can trust the establishment politicians on both sides to play ball with them.

Re: Political Roundtable Part XXII
jobs report shows obama era just payneful.<-major drop then flatline.
Trump righting ship finds true north...corporate optimism began minutes after trump decsends on escalator.
no seriously. jobs report hips dont lie.
so trump has your wages up about 3% and nearly 5% since he took office. yes, its additive. aaaaaaaaaaaaand your taxes down about 10-20% for those earning $20-65K!!!!!????? Seriously....wages are up and taxes are down and you want this guy because why?
let's count the reasons:
1. slept with stormy 12 years ago and paid her to shut up? <--yeah lets crush the economy!
2. You simply dont like his style of negotiations.
3. He said, "russia if you're listening" 2 years ago about emails. yet no quid pro quoa exists with russia and in fact he's been harder on russia than obama and bush combined.
but really, you just dont like it that he gets your goat!!

Those numbers don't make ANY sense whatsoever - obviously some should increase and some should decrease - which leads to the obvious conclusion that all those numbers are bullshyt.
What probably isn't bs is that Nike's received over 160 million dollars and counting worth of free publicity.

so how come none of you guys are talking about this!!!!!!!!????????? does your news source even tell you???
here's your laugher...bring in more refugees so they can take your jobs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
seriously folks...do you understand that scarcity of labor and labor pay rates increasing are directly proportional!!?? Do you??? No! of course you dont!!!
USA today wants to give your jobs away...make labor abundant and pay rates to drop. Sad.
oh...and GDP was revised up last quarter to 4.2% . Trump is averaging 3% since he stepped on the court opening night.

I agree the why is the really big mystery. They seem to take the 25th amendment off the table. They don't seem to be advocating a turnover of Congress. If it was a wake-up call to Republicans to get off their butts and stop Trump, there would seem to be much better ways of revealing it - directly to influential Congressmen and their staffs? If you do it publicly, I think you need to be more explicit.
The only thing it seems to do is make it harder for Trump to fire people in his administration. Ironically the letter writer probably does get fired, but it probably prevents wholesale turnover in the administration. But does that "benefit" outweigh destabilizing someone who is already unstable.

Remember when Republicans were for a Balanced Budget Amendment? With their lack of fiscal responsibility, maybe Democrats need to start pushing for it. It's not a good answer, but it might be a necessary answer - as things to continue to go out of control.

I know you have to be wary of anything STD posts because he's a blatant liar and loves to post fake news from right wing morons. However the polls are right but it really only captures a snapshot in time. As he always does he cherry picks stuff that supports his warped beliefs. The same amount of people find the Kaepernick ad appropriate as find it inappropriate. People lie on polls all the time and you have to question who pollsters are sampling. What really matters are sales and the free advertising Nike has gotten from this. Their favorability numbers will pick back up when people forget about this.

My two cents. If the Ds really do push for a BBA and become the adults in the room - I think they completely dominate.
But they can't be "stupid" about it. They have to understand that understand the notion of sustainable. Don't jack up corporate tax rates - stick to personal tax rates. Get rid of all the carveouts - even the ones that they love and protect.
Do you think they could make that change?
And then you have the spending side (baseline spending, cost drivers for healthcare, ect..)... do you think they could figure that part out?

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

The economy would have continued to do well regardless of who was President. How about that trillion dollars Trump added to the deficit.
