We really should've just kept Jared Cook. Sucks that didn't work out.

Just doesn't seem worth it when your team has so many holes elsewhere.

I like their QB situation from the Packers' perspective. Stafford is good enough to keep around and demand a huge contract, but he's not good enough to make me constantly worry about the Lions every year.

I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Wasn't that his fault that he left though? I thought he and his agent were playing games

I just flipped over to the MNF game and was wondering why the call was in Spanish. Just realized I was watching it on ESPN2.

I mean, Booger McFarland has basically been the color commentator tonight. They should just give him the job permanently, because Witten just doesn't seem comfortable up there.

I don't know if the details were ever leaked, but Cook denied ever getting a contract offer. The reports simply said that the Packers broke off talks and decided to turn elsewhere.

They signed Bennett shortly thereafter, so my guess is that they simply decided to go after him and let Cook walk.

Haha, gotta love ESPN showing Mack highlights from last night, right as they (Raider fans) were probably just starting to calm down about losing him.

A bit of an overreaction from week 1, but never really understood why the Lions hired the Pats D coordinator who was in charge of the worst defense of BB's tenure. BB disciples rarely do well anyways, but at least they were in charge of high performing teams.

Well between this and Dez claiming that they run a garbage scheme in Dallas, at least MM isn't the only coach behind the times.

It's gonna be interesting to see how Scott and Seattle's Dickson do throughout their careers. I was paying attention to punters during the draft, but it looks like Dickson was the consensus dude and someone teams thought could go in the third round (though Scott had some of those projections too). But Dickson only went around 20 picks earlier than Scott and his first NFL game was astonishing, albeit in Denver.
