Love to see if Maholmes can put a whooping on the Steelers this week. I wish we had him.

But Sam Bradford STOLE money (and years) from the Rams organization. I will enjoy every second of the beat down that Bradford and the Cardinals get on Sunday.

Dak's rookie year he had the best supporting cast in the NFL.

This year Mahomes has the best weapons in the NFL.

I guess what I'm saying is, when Dak had something comparable to what Mahomes has now, he looked like a superstar.

We've been giving QBs too much credit for far too long.

Did Fisher make the Bradford pick? Or was that before him?

Agreed. Goff is a Prescott clone.

I'm starting to question the Dak hype in his rookie year. I know coaching has had a lot to do with it, however I also remember romo playing better QB in the past with much worse O-lines. Not sure what to think right now.

Romo was really really good tho.

Before. Bradford won rookie of the year with Steve Spagnuolo as head coach. Rams went 7-9 - that year, the Rams and Seahawks played a play in for the division title in week 17 - Seahawks at 6-9 and Rams at 7-8. Seahawks won and the next week was Beastquake.

Naturally after winning rookie of the year we were hyped. But in that offseason, Pat Shurmur left to become a HC. We hired Josh McDaniels as OC - that was the lockout year, and we had an incredibly bad draft in an attempt to get some weapons. First round pick that year was Robert Quinn, but he only fell because of health reasons - that was similar to the Donald pick with how easy that was to make. After that it was all trash. In 2011 we went 2-14 and ended up with the number two pick. Fisher took over and made the epic RG3 trade to stockpile some talent, but then we were stuck with Fisher for five years.

Haha. I'm not completely sold on Goff as a franchise QB just yet, but IMO he's definitely better than Dak. But your point is well taken - Goff has an insane supporting cast.

Goff is definitely more talented than Dak. He has a better arm. I mean there's a reason he went 1st overall & Dak fell to the 4th Round.

But yeah, that team is absolutely stacked. Gurley is a top 3 back. The o-line is good. Kupp & Cooks are decent receivers. The defense...

But, we also saw what happened when he didn't have good coaching.

Looking forward to playing the Raiders. The Broncos and Raiders have never liked each other and they seem to both get hyped for these games.

If Miller puts together another magnificent performance will he be a favorite for defensive MVP?

Hoping for a huge Broncos win.

As great as Von is, let's not get crazy here.

Just a reminder that he was matched up & took advantage of our biggest weakness (RT). Germain Ifedi (Our version of Ereck Flowers) would be a backup on most teams. He's a complete turnstile for the most part.

Yeah, I actually wrote up a post the other day when you posted this before saying it's too bad they went with Dak and disregarded Romo because Romo did SO much with a bad line and everything...and kept them crazily in games they had no business being in for year, that Dak shows up with a great line and back, looks good, and Romo gets cast aside.

I went back and looked at Dak's #s as a rookie, and realized it was probably a tough decision, but I remember in the moment I would have definitely given the job back to Romo the next year unless he faltered. Romo might be one of the more underrated qbs out there....and I'm not a Cowboys fan, but living in Austin I watched him enough to know how talented he was.

Cowboys did Romo dirty.

There are 4 or 5 big games in the early slate. Should be a ripper of a week 2.
