Wasn't the prettiest win but the defense looked damned good. Part of that is due to the Giants being a pretty bad offensive football team right now. But adding last night to the Panthers game, I like where we are on that side of the team. Offense has a great play, a good series and a lot of "meh" in between. Passing game is still a work in progress and the Giants were able to blitz successfully... especially on Collins' side. Gotta figure out how to attack that.

Win's a win. I'll take it. On to Seattle!

The comparisons between the two offensive lines were appropriate.

He turned down 4 other teams. Said he was looking for “the right team”. I’d say he found it. If this doesn’t work out, the Gary Anderson Jinx is real in Minnesota.

Last year's Hawks oline was worse. 3/5 lineman on that team are currently unemployed.

Spoiler:

Sadly, the RT (#76) is still on the team. He would make Ereck Flowers proud. :banghead:

Chaz Green anyone?

#65 is our starting Right Tackle.

I like our defense this weekend as well. Except that Russell Wilson isn’t Eli.

Their O-line is pathetic, no running game, and Baldwin is still out. If we get our other 4 defensive starters back this week, I feel real good about this week. Sea hawks don't scare me at all. Maybe this is the week Wilson gets hurt. I can't see how he going to survive this season regardless.

Would like to see more targets to Beasley and Gallup. Hurns looks slow to me and I still can't stand Williams.

I'd like to see the RT not get steamrolled so often.

Sounds like you are about ready to put Chaz Green on the same list as you have Rod Hill,

I'm a little more concerned about La'el Collins at this point. Chaz is loading lumber at a nearby Home Depot for all I know.

It may take another week or two for this O-line to gel and for Dak to get used to all these new WR's.

How has Connor Williams played?

His technique has been good, his strength has not. He’s been better when he’s been asked to pull but is getting beat a lot on bull rushes. In 2-3 years he’ll be a whole lot better than he is right now.

I’m not too worried about Collins. He hasn’t been as bad as some have made him out to be, at least not from what I’ve seen. Looney has been solid however the line and Dak really miss Fredrick’s ability to spot the Mike and point out the blocking assignments. A lot of time the OL is blocking the wrong guy and allowing the wrong guy to come free.
